The only person stupid enough to accept the number 2 position to an obvious looser candidate. A candidate even more stupid than he is. All of the other potential running mates probably ran for their lives when asked.

This is being floated even in certain Democratic circles, nobody wanted to be hitched too closely to the DNC nominee who may lose to a Republican with 34 indictments and one conviction. It's political suicide, hell even Hilliary's rep in the DNC took a huge hit.

Rumors are that Shapiro took himself out of consideration...because he has aspirations for 2028 and thinks Harris will lose.

It makes sense, there's a reason Chuck Schumer is making commercials pleading for voters to save the Senate. He knows Harris doesn't motivate the 81 million votes needed to win the Senate.

I was expecting Obama.

I'm disappointed she didn't pick Biden.

It seemed like a real "no brainer" ticket. Biden has the experience, he's sharp as a tack, and at the top of his game.

Yeah.
Since Kamala didn't choose Joe Biden...she ain't Black.

Kamala liked how Tim Walz contained Black people in Minneapolis to burning and shooting inside their own neighborhood borders in 2020. Tim was the Border Czar that Kamala was afraid to be.

Tim Walz contained the riots to Black hoods: gettr.com...

Ok.
I can see where you are coming from.
Seems like a very dark and uninformed place.
Perhaps an echo chamber. I don’t know.
I can say that I was married to a Jewish woman for 20 years.
She though Bibi was a criminal.

T im Walz Embellished Military Career for Years - Dropped from National Guard Unit Ahead of Iraq Deployment

Veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of “embellishing” his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit’s 2005 deployment to Iraq.

In a letter posted to Facebook in 2018 as he first ran for governor, Retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr said Walz retired from his 24-year tenure in the National Guard after learning that his battalion would be deployed to Iraq, despite allegedly assuring his fellow troops he would join them.

“On May 16th, 2005, [Walz] quit, betraying his country, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war,” Behrends and Herr wrote.

The National Guard members also accused the now-two-term Minnesota governor of having “embellished and selectively omitted facts of his military career for years.”

Eh, he funded Minnesota police departments to hire more cops and and to get body cams which help protect good cops. He did ban chokeholds. Not a bad thing. Seems more pro police than promising to pardon people convicted of breaking bones and beating cops with a bat, flagpole who were just doing his job protecting the heart of our nation.

Veterans will love that. LOL.

Kamala could not have made a worse choice.
I suppose that speaks to her decision-making skills.

First you questioned Kamala's heritage. Now you're questioning her husband's. And then you complain that people are making things about race.

Kamala is a proud DEI hire and proud race baiter.
The democrats made this the issue.
I wish they would stop with race crap and tell us your policies Kamala, you twit.

The Minnesota Senate’s Joint Transportation and Judiciary and Public Safety Committee released a report in October 2020 detailing what went wrong in Minneapolis, including Walz’ role.
Here’s the damning report of Walz’ pro-rioter anti-police actions…
www.mnsenaterepublicans.com...

“Governor Walz had the ability and duty to use force and law enforcement to stop criminal violence, but he did not.
Governor Walz was not willing to do what was necessary to stop the rioting right away because he was having a philosophical debate about whether the use of force should be used to stop violence.”

Walz wants to make America Minnesota again.
No thanks. 👎

Yes,a 15 second clip. Neglecting that she's been very vocal about the rates of recidivism and the opportunity to educate those in prison and to learn skills so that the chance of recidivism is less likely.

And we know the "Law and order" people. They were only that way in the summer of 2020 when it was brown people. White j6 people? Political hostages. No more "Back the blue" and "Law and order". Never heard that once.

The US' approach to incarceration doesn't work. We can look to other countries where an emphasis is placed on rehabilitation instead of punishment and compare their recidivism rates to our own to show this is the case. You can even look at Harris' own Back On Track program that dropped the recidivism rate of non-violent drug offenders from over 50% to under 10%.

I'm not seeing the "hates" thing either?

Seeing lots of hate for Kamala and now Walz.

Seems US politics is all about the cult of personality rather than policies.

Trumps first step act was undeniably excellent…

The First Step Act has been quite a success. Of almost 30,000 people released under its reforms through January 2023, only 12.4 percent have been arrested for new crimes. Compare that to the Bureau of Prisons' overall recidivism rate more than three times that number—43 percent. www.judiciary.senate.gov... f-the-landmark-first-step-act#

Kamala personally bailed out arsonists and murderers because of their race.
