If Trump was killed then there would be a battle as to whom would take his place. There is no battle in the DNC as they can pick whomever they want...Hillary anyone?... and of course no one is surprised as to the timing of Biden's departure to give the DNC all the power they need. We also know that Biden was forced to step aside within that timing, and should never have run for a second term, but then that is all the plan in the end.

It does kinda look like that. But Biden had a back-up, his VP, who was also on the ticket and a co-beneficiary of all their PAC monies.
