The top 10-15 states account for 85% of the legal abortions even Florida's amount is a micro fraction of the whole population of Florida.

.362% of Florida's population had a legal abortion in 2021, even if we include the parents and the child and grandparents, who else is immediately affected every year? 1% or 2% maximum of Florida population? and thats just Florida most states are 1/5th are less than Florida's 79,000

Why are we letting an issue that affects such a small fraction of the population become the predominant reason for voting for a particular candidate?

I hate that the Republicans challenged Roe vs Wade but since it has happened perhaps it is better to let the states decide if and when there is, more of a consensus one way or another on federal legislation. Till then let the states hash it out and if the voters of a state want changes they vote a person out who doesn't agree with thier position

The fact is Trump has already stated he will not block the abortion pill which in itself accounts for 80% of all abortions,

Or we can argue about it while other issues that had much more far-reaching consequences for all of us get ignored or put on the back burner

Trump is not against abortions and has a more liberal 1990s view of it all. Abortions are also State level, so unless Congress does it then it isn't even a Presidential thing to talk about. We all know that if Congress puts an abortion bill in front of Trump, he will sign it, as he has said so many times.
