A Republic is a Government of the People set forth by the people on guiding Principles and we elect people there in to rule according to those principles .

A Democracy has no Principles but is ruled by the Majority and the Majorities principles could be literally anything , One day it could be Nazi's the Next day it could be Communist. All on the whims of the Majority and that is the modern Democrat Party .
