That might have been somewhat factual in the likes of the 70/80s with the previous wave of immigration, but not now.
Something for you to consider a lot of people who are on benefits are better off than people in minimum-wage jobs.
Which should tell you exactly everything you need to know really.
End of the day, most people dont just sit on their arse doing nothing on the dole.
Because they get sanctioned and forced to work for their payment.
There are no free rides any longer ufoorbhunter.
And the fact of the matter is a lot of the poor sods that do get sanctioned are pretty much beyond repair, which is another thing to consider.
Wonder what would happen if they started sanctioning MP for not playing the game or doing their jobs accordingly?
Dont hate the players ufoorbhunter, hate the game, and those that make the rules.
Because its one rule for some, and another for the majority aka everyone else.
All these 'disability' claimants prove the opposite.
The craziest thing is these same good for nothing work shy bone idle genetically lazy fukc abouts are the first to complain about 'the immigrants' and join far right organisations
They feed the low wage economy that means so many British people are working for an absolute pittance and they provide a great diversion for those who are benefiting from all this.
As we made the case in Passport to Progress, immigrants are natural entrepreneurs and innovators. The very act of migrating shows both grit and a willingness to take risks. As outsiders, immigrants are less liable to fall prey to status quo bias and are better able to spot opportunities for doing things differently.
In the UK, immigrants are more likely to own and run businesses. In the US, they own disproportionately more patents.

That's admirable quintessentone.
But it does not change the fact that there are food banks in operation all over the island in what is supposedly a first-world nation.
Or seems to be putting much of a dent in the austerity situation overall.

That will be thelegalmigrants who have NOT come over illegally with no documentation to identify them across the channel in boats and smuggled on trucks.
Arrests and fines are being dished out pretty much every other day to employers who have illegal immigrants working.... car washes, fruit pickers, nail parlours to name a few.

The Labour Party has a historical reputation of showing a more lenient approach to immigration. However, considering the record levels of net migration in recent years, this new government is expected to adopt a similar approach to its predecessor. In its manifesto, while avoiding setting specific targets, Labour announced its immigration policy “will reduce the reliance on overseas workers, address home-grown skills shortages and ensure that hard work is rewarded with proper wages and conditions.”
