Yes we should trust the FBI, and every other branch law enforcement when it comes to something like this.
Quit being part of the problem that is ripping this country apart.

Should We Trust the FBI
The Security Services will be going through a big shake up at the moment for things to get this far. If they find some bad apples there, won't want to be in their shoes. Once things settle down, expect they will be keeping a close eye on the FBI.
What if it does lead to some kind of greater government conspiracy in the back ground? How far can things get in trying to sort it out? Thing is lining up to be one crazy election season with how divided things have become. Hold on to your hats and keep calling it as best you can.

SS is lead...and they aren't messing around...they didn't make time for the presser. Instead they were busy working...also probably won't get much info from them as the more they give the more it could help another would be assassin. SS rank and file will take this very seriously they value their reputation more than probably any other agency.

No. Many of us knew this was coming. I truly cannot believe it got to this point.
When directed by the President, the United States Secret Service is authorized to participate, under the direction of the Secretary of Homeland Security, in the planning, coordination, and implementation of security operations at special events of national significance, as determined by the President.

The FBI Pittsburg field office is in charge of the investigation. However, as with all high-profile domestic terror attacks, shootings and killings that directly impact the “peace and tranquility”, we can expect the DOJ-CRS to take over the information pipeline.
The FBI is officially calling the shooting an “attempted assassination attempt. The motive is undetermined.

The FBI is leaving the shooter's Social Media accounts alone...not "scrubbing" them from the internet.

Is this an attempt to keep us from being suspicious that Crooks was following orders?

I'd feel a lot better about this if Donald Trump has investigators looking into the origins of this almost tragedy.
S.C.U.M. Lord[1] (sometimes rendered "Scumlord"[2]) is the unnamed leader of the criminal organisation S.C.U.M. (an acronym of Saboteurs and Criminals United in Mayhem). The character appeared in the 1991 animated television series James Bond Jr., its accompanying comic-book series, novelisations, and video-game. He is one of the series' primary antagonists and is clearly based on Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
