Well, thanks for the offer, but I’m going to have to decline being interrogated by you today.

The threads not about me, it’s about some stoner on tic tok who claimed his monthly grocery cost has gone up 4 times in 2 years because the dumb ass forgot to include his SNAP benefits.

The entire world is in this mess because the morons shut down the entire global economy for the best part of 2 years. It’s not because of Biden, Trump or anyone else.

Do you not pay for your own groceries, gasoline, electricity, house payment, insurance, car payment, etc...

Yes, everything costs more and it sucks.

But to the point, what’s Trump going to do to magically make everything better for everyday Americans? What exact policies?

Too many to list here are a few:

1. Drill.
2. Pipelines.
3. Stop/slow illegal immigration. (Will raise wages).
4. Invest in American infrastructure (high paying jobs).
5. Renew/increase tax cuts for us set to expire (Joe has said he will not renew.
6. Cut agencies such as epa. Surpreme court helped see thread on that.
7. Eliminate agencies (department of ed)
8. Stop giving money away to Ukrain etc.
9. Make nato pay.
10. Get out of climate scams recently agreed to.

It's pretty easy to see why people are being priced out of the ability to feed their families if you look at all of the facts.

ex]Farm production costs skyrocketed 15.2% in 2022

While diesel fuel and fertilizer prices have fallen slightly from their record highs one year ago, the prices for fuel and fertilizers remain 60% to 130% higher than their January 2021 levels.

Other farm expenses such as land, cash rents, labor, farm equipment, and interest expenses continue to increase or are holding near record highs – indicating that inflationary pressure on agricultural input costs continues to be acutely felt by farmers.

Fertilizer prices increased 25% in 2021 due to high energy costs and supply-chain issues and drove up prices over 50% by 2022. Throw in crop failures caused by shortages of parts to keep farm equipmant opperational, limits on water usage , increses in production costs all helped to increasse food costs.

Another factor to consider:

Over the past decade, foreign ownership of agricultural land have grown. As a result, an interest in restricting and monitoring foreign ownership of U.S. agricultural land is growing significantly among federal and state lawmakers.

[nationalaglawcenter.org...]

While our representatives pretend to work on important issues while actually fighting BS issue ( for the 1/3 of a year they're not on vacation) the fox have invaded the henhouse.

It's illegal to grow alfalfa for their horses in Saudi Arabia because it uses too much water so Arizona, in its drought-stricken state leased land to them and restricked water usage for their own farmers who were growing food for American families.

American hunger has far more facets than just 'greedy companies', including feeding 60 million 'undocumented' along with exports to other countries.

As more and more major corporations leave the US over current policies it's only going to get worse. Four more years of Obama/Biden?liberal policies will ensure they get the job done.
While it may be trus that nothing, not even conservative policies can save us now we really have nothing to lose by at least trying, and everything to lose if we stay on the same path.

Firstly, they’re not sending pallets of cash to Ukraine. They’re giving them old weapons that would have to be decommissioned eventually anyway, then making new more modernized weapons in the US to refill there own stocks.

Not only are they sending them pallets full of cash the Ukrainian officials are stealing the money too so don't say "they are just giving them old weapons that would be decommissioned anyways"

C'mon people. We know better.

The price of goods and services aren't going up, the value of the dollar is going down. It's inflation.

Inflation occurs when the supply of fiat currency is increased. The money supply is increased when the Government "borrow" money from the Federal Reserve (which doesn't have any money).

Is Biden responsible? At this point, I'm not sure Biden has the mental capacity to be legally responsible for anything. But at the very least, you could say he's a co-conspirator, accessory, or accomplice.

Remember the Inflation Reduction Act passed a few years ago? It didn't take them long after it was passed to admit it had nothing to do with reducing inflation. Common sense should have told anyone that increasing the money supply will not reduce inflation.

All these bills to send weapons abroad? Well, we're really sending them old, outdated weapons. The money is being used to buy new weapons for ourselves, right? Common sense should ask, "If the weapons are old, outdated, and useless, why are we sending them to people who are fighting Russians and Iranians?" Are the weapons useful or not?

Will Trump be able to do anything about this? My guess is, not enough. This inflation train is just picking up speed heading towards Depression Station.

Couple that with other nations choosing to trade in something other than US dollars, recently Saudia Arabia. Less demand for dollars, increase in the supply of dollars.

Anybody know what comes next? We've seen it enough times in history.

Around here, there has been an increase of about double on our grocery bills since Biden took office. This does not include increases from the eight months before the pandemic, which was about another fifteen percent which was during Trump's presidency. The price we pay on GOOD SALES for items is higher than the REGULAR STORE PRICE it was during the Trump era now. Stuff like Miracle Whip and Hellmans is double and it seems like all the stuff that is not pure junk food is way higher. Sure there are cheap cardboard pizzas on sale for decent prices and stuff like some highly processed foods have gone down, but the sales are not as good anymore and the price when not on sale has gone way up.

We buy mostly sale stuff now and stock up when there are good sales on things. We have three freezers and a big pantry of food in rotation, but still buying eighty percent of everything on the best sales now is still way up. Way more than before Biden got in. Not many people have the pantry space and multiple upright freezers to do this...everything needs to be dated and rotated and that takes time which many people don't have if they are working.

We used to get cans of coffee for four bucks on sale, now on sale they are seven and the regular price is ten or more bucks.

Biden is lying when he says food prices are going down, sure some stuff like junk food is going down and stores have corn on the cob for thirty three cents right now. What did he do to fuel his lies, send out people to shop only great sale items like we do. Most people can't do that but I suppose he can hire a full time person to do that to make food inflation look better. No sale prices were supposed to be used before to rate the cost of living of food, just the retail price. I guess that was one of the changes they implemented to make him look not nearly as bad.

$10 bucks for smokes? Hasn’t been that cheap in Australia since last century 😂

Currently $45 for a pack of 25 …..

Or black market smokes from somewhere in asia for between $10 and $20 for a pack if 20.

Even with our pissweak currency it’s an outrage lol

Things you think are stupid….makes someone else lots of money.

Plus I wouldn’t call it a grift if people are happy what they receive.

So basically you just hate capitalism? Right?

Besides, how is inflation exclusively Biden’s fault and what exactly is Trump going to do to fix it?

By closing the open border, deporting illegals and stopping billions going overseas to feed wars. Just fixing a few things that happened under Bidens incompetence will help tremendously.

Firstly, they’re not sending pallets of cash to Ukraine. They’re giving them old weapons that would have to be decommissioned eventually anyway, then making new more modernized weapons in the US to refill there own stocks.

Also, Trump had 4 years to do what you claim he’ll do with the border but didn’t. Besides, closing the border and deporting millions of undocumented workers have the absolute opposite effect to fixing inflation costs.

Firstly, Since the war began, the U.S. Congress has voted through five bills that have provided Ukraine with ongoing aid, doing so most recently in April 2024. The total budget authority under these bills—the “headline” figure often cited by news media—is $175 billion.

So not exactly just sending them old M16s.

Which means that once again you are quite wrong.

Also, Trump attempted to do that (closing the border) but was not allowed to do that by Democrats in Congress and the House.

All on the Democrats, that one.

Although Democrats are now attempting to "slow the Flow" because it is an election year...

Third and finally, you have no idea what the word "inflation" even means so just stop it.

That poster doesn’t seem to realise that those replacement armaments don’t grow on trees.
(On reading further I see Victor made this point as well, nicely done Vic 👍)
It’s still going to be money out of American taxpayers pockets, even if it goes to the arms manufacturers and not given away by the pallet load.

Then again 👆🏿This is even more despicable because the actual beneficiaries of the Ukraine getting munitions and weapons is obfuscated.
I guess the MIC are heavy Democrat donors 🤷🏽‍♂️

Ah , I just Paid $4.79 for the Smallest Jar of Hellmann's Mayonnaise they make . Inflation ? Hell Yeah Joe !

Yup. Had to switch to peanut butter only sandwiches for work. Barbie size mayo or miracle whip is 5-6 BidenBucks and a small package of turkey is 10 Bidens. It makes like 3 sandwiches.

The point is the guy in the tic tok video clearly made a mistake when calculating how much more it costs, yet the MAGA movement are more than happy to use it as propaganda.

It’s a common theme with Trump and MAGA, everything has to be hyperbole, over dramatic, or flat out lies.

It’s not good enough to say the economy was in good shape when Trump was President… he has to brag how it was the best economy ever! It’s not good enough to just say inflation is still to high… the whole economy has to be on the verge of total collapse! It’s not good enough to just say Biden’s old and struggling… it has to be manipulated videos to make it look 10 times worse than what it actually is.

The constant drama and over exaggeration is exhausting with you guys.
