It’s normal to run a short delay on live broadcast so producer can cut out if there are cuss words or such.

This delay is much longer so they can cut out if Trump says something they don’t like or Biden freezes.

It’s totally so they can control the narrative.

90 second delay is insane. I feel like we shoulda been on this a long time ago. We could have been demanding no delay or 10 sec delay. Show us the real candidates. How they really are. Anything can happen in 90 seconds. I mean you would think the democrats would support this too, since they think Trump is so unhinged or whatever and Biden is fantastic and totally mentally sound. He stutters! It's not mental decline! Hehehehehehehehe. They should want people to see Trump basically live, at least not with a 90 second delay so they can prove their point about how bad he is right?
