Again, there’s no doubt that there are abhorrent views being projected in many if not all of these protests.

But like everything, it’s a spectrum.

Ultimately I support Israel, the only free and democratic country in the region. They also are the closest to our countries views and interests.

But I can understand criticism of their methods, and can appreciate why some people have strong concerns about the future of this conflict.

There are three ways forward.

1. A defeat, and Israel rebuilds Gaza with at least a little bit of compassion. Many view this as unthinkable, yet America showed the effectiveness of such a tactic with Japan and Germany. I’m sure many will say Hamas is inhuman and reprehensible, to which I’d agree. But such criticism of a government are different from the people which him sure some fit in that camp none the less.

2. Expelling the Palestinians to _______. This one doesn’t seem realistic as no Arab country will take them. This speaks volumes.

3. Kill them all or let them die to starvation and the elements. This would be disastrous to Israel’s public image, and their global trade. One in which they’re disproportionately successful to than a vast majority of nations.

I vote 1. I am also skeptical that is the choice. I doubt 2 or 3 happen to a full degree, I expect it will just be a colossal mess just like their initial security before the tragedy.

But here’s to hope.

Why do the majority of these protestors hide their faces? Why don't they want to be recognised?

Covid.

Second line: Facial recognition software. Most of their mugs have already been photographed at earlier "Mostly Peaceful" BLM protests.
I'm sure many were also present at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Let there be no doubt that those calling themselves "Pro-Palestine" are 100% 'Pro-Hamass'!

Actually I just don't like my money being used in the indiscriminate bombing of innocent women and children.

I condone Hamas and Israel equally. Hamas is a suicidal death cult and Israel is a sadistic genocidal military dictatorship. My tax dollars only fund one side(technically). The real problem is Israel has shown time and time again they are the oppressors and the aggressors and the primary problem. Most Palestinians have nowhere else to go as they are indigenous to the region. Isralies on the other hand...

Are you aware it's illegal to get a DNA test in Israel? Do you know why?

You all are subscribing to one of the biggest lies in modern American history. The lie that the people of Israel give a **** about American Judeo-christian Evangelists.

They hate you slightly less than they hate Palestinians...

Actually they never finished their declaration because they realized if they were a true democracy the Palestinians would be the majority with the larger population. Israel will only become a democracy once they eradicate enough Palestinians...

I get so sick of that "only democracy in the middle east" nonsense.
This was Iran in the 40's-50's.

Fully functional democracy...

Until America foreign policy introduced Wahhabism with the aid of Saudi Arabia. You all need to read more and watch less FOX or MSNBC or whatever nonsense you all are consuming.

Easily googled ....DNA testing is not banned in Israel. The Genetic Information Law, passed in 2000 amid privacy concerns, conditions domestic testing on a doctor's prescription or court order, & that testing be done by accredited labs. Commercial ancestry tests can be purchased from abroad.

Repeat after me...

If Gaza citizens and Hamas, etc...laid down their weapons, there would be peace.
If Israel laid down their weapons, there would be no more Israel.

Let me explain about the orthodox Jewish protestors - the ones with payees and beards. They are Satmar Jews, who are a very niche sect and whilst not small, not mainstream either. They have some interesting views that mean they believe that the Holocaust and Oct 7th, and other violent events that hurt Jews are G_d's punishment for Jews not being observant enough. They also believe only G_d can give the Jewish people the right to return to Israel. How they reconcile this with many of them living there, I do not know. This is not a common Jewish view, and rejected by Rabbi outside of the Satmar tradition, including the Chabad Lubavitcher Rebbe. The others are just self hating and hoping if they go along with things now, then they will be spared later. I am Jewish and happy to answer any polite questions about this.

I was talking about the American Jewish students, most of whom weren’t orthodox by my assessment.

Also, Israel themselves have had pretty large protests concerning the hostages and cease fire deals.

Just like any issue, there’s always different takes on it even domestically (in this case Israel)

My whole point in this thread is that we can’t speak in absolutes, like 100% of protesters are pro hamas.

The protests in Israel are for Bibi to make a deal to get the hostages home, not against the war, or Pro Palestinian. Please do not twist the narrative. 100 percent of those people on the Pro Hamas marches are Pro Hamas and anti Jew. It is an absolute. If someone supports Oct 7th, calls for intifada and the expulsion of the Jews they are Pro Hamas.
I too support a deal to get the hostages home but Hamas will not allow this. They have refused at every turn, no matter what was offered. You are twisting the narrative and using Jews against Jews.

Who are you to judge the Judaism of of Jewish people! Who are you to say who is 'orthadox' and who isn't! You have no idea what you are talking about. None. Also those people are self declared. There are a lot of different groups who like to claim Judaism in order to make actual Jews feel alone and in the minority. I won't let it happen. You don't know the first thing about my community.

They see the "zionists" as many of us do, somehow connected to this one world dominating totalitarian state. Therefore, we who are against Zionists are not anti Jews at all for one second in my world, nor will we ever be based on scripture alone. It might be super smart to be anti zionism as that is the DS Cabal leadership IMHO. Those isms are cult like and bring down some bad mojo type Karma. Jewish is not a cult of hate, it is a DNA issue. Just like the USA's KKK folks are a cult of hate, but Christians aren't in that cult. I hope that will work for a great example to ponder what we should focus upon.

I'd give you 10 stars for this post...but only pro-Hamass members can do that.

SO TRUE!!! Pretty pretty stars!! It must mean they are right and everyone should think like them!! ha ha ha

That being said .. the useful idiot protestors that really are ridiculous are the 'queers for palestine' group. Homosexuality is illegal and gays are murdered with the blessing of the government in Gaza, West Bank, etc etc ... yet those pro-Hamas morons are out there campaigning for them, not caring that those they campaign for would gladly cut off their heads and rape their dead bodies.

Someone needs to do a meme on that for the gays before they really screw up and walk up to a Jihadi wanting to teach a lesson people will never forget.
