For as much as you want to distance yourselves from the other side, both left and right behave the same.

Leftists didn't leave after Trump won and Righties won't Civil War if Trump loses.

For two reasons.

1) If the so called Patriots truly believed this was the end of America they would've taken up arms by now and started slaughtering immigrants at the border. They haven't. And they won't. No matter their rhetoric. Because deep down, they know it's wrong/illegal, or they're too scared to do it themselves and have to rile up others to do it for them.

2) If this turns into a Left vs. Right Civil War, which side are the majority of 18-34 year olds going to join? Most of todays youth leans to the left. You gonna kill your kids, boomers? You got your Civil War, you even won, but now the average age of an American is 50 and here comes China to pick off the winners.

Shame on you veteran conspiracy theorists. You should know better by now that any story involving a retired army general is a crock. Just look at all the fruitless UFO retired army posts.

Is there a point in your mind that one might "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic" which by doing so might result in a civil war? Regardless of military status, true patriots believe in this. And at what point does one say 'enough is enough'? Is there a 'too late' to try point and we all give in to the most powerful authority?

I don't support civil war but at the same time, see my signature. there comes a time when something more than letter writing and marching with signs and megaphones must be done to effect change.

Veterans especially don’t condone it, because we lived in violent situations. True patriots don’t condone violence. Our military doesn’t condone it either. So who does? It’s obvious to a blind man.

Being a patriot, does not mean you want violence, it means we are prepared for it. Try reading the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the writings of our forefathers. They didn’t want violence, neither do we.

I have nothing to hide, my motivations are God, family, and country in that order. That’s what I feel are the things that are worth defending with my life. It’s the way I was brought up. I don’t go looking for trouble, but I will address it if it comes to me. If the CIA, NSA, etc. are reading my words, I would thank them for their work in keeping us safe. I’d like to think that is their motive.

IF anybody was serious organizing plans for a civil war, their meetings have already been infiltrated. Before a frist strike could ever happen there would be a national emergency declared and martial law enacted under some ruse; highly contagious bio-weapon would be a good one.

All cities instantly locked down; all travel stopped. STK anyone not complying.

Yeah; we passed the ability to stage a civil war many years ago.

That is assuming a great many things. First and foremost that the planning could be tracked. Too much reliance on the internet makes many people forget there are analog methods of doing things. The three letter agencies have an intelligence deficit if the internet is not involved. As for lack of movement, as if the lock down prevented people that really wanted to move around from doing so. Not every route can be found via Google maps. Finally those big boy weapons are not exactly user friendly. The right location and it is a non-issue. Thing is a civil war here in the US would make a mockery of high tech warfare. Too costly and maintenance heavy when you would have people that worked with those very same toys and understand how to counter them. That kind of operation would screw the military. They are too slow to change how they operate especially since we are talking the side that would have all of the politicians!

it's obvious you don't grasp what's happening. We, on the right, republicans and libertarians aren't violent people. We don't riot and burn cities. We don't light cars on fire. We don't loot stores. We go to work, we keep our weapons clean, dry, and serviceable, we train, and we wait. We hope that there is never a reason to use the training. A "finisher of fights" is typically someone backed into a corner whose only path forward is through. Aka, you either bend the knee and wear the cuffs or you die. Nobody is getting backed in a corner and nobody is getting rounded up block after block for suspected right wing activities. It's not happening.

I think you are greatly underestimating their involvement in these movements. I doubt there's a single one that hasn't been infiltrated and is being closely monitored. Take away the chief organizers early on and you have a bunch of guys not knowing what to do next.

I'm of the belief the government agencies know more routes than the best planners, and the'd be blocked in a nanosecond.

It would take a massive stockpile to feed and supprot an army of revolusionists large enogh to challenge the guv, and if there are such chaches you can bet all the alphabet agencies know about them. Once they've been destroyed good luck on restocking.

Sites like ATS do the hard work for them; it's easy for them to get all the data on every single prepper, outspoken 2A advocate bragging about their stockpile, everyone hinting at a 'movement' to take our country back-you've already identified yourselves and been scrutinized six ways from Sundy. If they found you worthy you're on a high-priority watch list and every time you sneeze it's recorded.

Thing is a civil war here in the US would make a mockery of high tech warfare.

A 'civil war' in this country would never be allowed to happen. Our intellegence agencies would see it coming and we'd get a false flag event that would be used to wipe out the lot.
