What should it have been listed as?

Well maybe being honest about what the payment was really for would have been a good start.

Don't you agree ?

honest with whom? Who should he have announced this payment to? And again, when the journal entry was made, if the choices were unlimited, what should they have been? If you don't know, you can say that. But to pretend you do, but not say, is where the problem is.

such payments are NOT illegal and break nbo campaign finance laws, or book keeping laws.

They are not illegal that is correct.

What is illegal is paying hush money, but listing it as something else on your business acounts. Do you actualy understand that?

since you do understand that, please tell us what it should have been listed as, and who should have been informed.

Paying hush money is not illegal, not even when running for office - with clear precedent already set to underpin that statement. So , let's put that one away.

Again - if not legal expenses, what should these payments have been listed as?

When business records are compiled you don't add in false payments. It's called being honest.

You do realise that is a crime.

There were no 'false payments'
Dishonesty is not a crime.

Now, can you answer the question both I and ND have asked?
What category should have been used for these payments?

If Trump paid Daniels for legal expenses, could you please explain what legal work she carried out for him?

With that i am out.

you do realize that you can't explain what it should have been. that is a problem. I can accept that it's a crime if it is a crime. I can also do simple math, and have heard of the statue of limitations. So now it's your turn. Show your work and explain what the entry should have read. And who should have been contracted about it.

He paid Cohen, who was his lawyer. He didn't write a check to the whore. If he did, then show that. If not, then scamper off like everyone else does when the realize they have no clue as to the answer here.

Answering a question with a question and then running away? Poor form.

It was an NDA agreement - a legal agreement between two or more parties common in business, requiring legal documentation.
Now, are you able to answer the question you were asked - perhaps?

Trumps crime.

Cohen paid Stormy for signing an NDA, 130K. Trump paid back Cohen the 130K in 12 installments.

Then Trump who just paid his lawyer, ledgered it in accounting as legal fees. 12 Times.

Cohen had invoiced Trump to pay him legal fees 10 times.

12 plus 12 plus 10

34

Hope that cleared it up for everyone.

You seem well versed ......

Can you tell me how Cohen was reimbursed while also receiving his exact same $420,000 salary?

when you say it like that, it doesn't sound like a crime. Could you reword that so it DOES please.

Those are all misdemeanors.

Can you show what the jury showed to make these felonies?

PLUS

Apparently all this was done because Trump wanted to protect his chances of getting elected becasue he thought that another slut coming forward in the midst of the 10 or so already on CNN, MSNBC et al, telling their stories at the time would have been a big problem.

He paid Cohen,

You have heard the saying " Follow The Money " Well who's bank account did the monies end up in ?

Ironic because Trump used the same saying when he was accusing Hilary Clinton of misdemenours back in 2016.

Nor do I, but for the sake of argument, it's a lingering question.

wait, so if my lawyer buys a bag of coke, but I just paid him for the traffic ticket he fixed for me, then I bought his coke? Would I be legally obligated to that crime?

He paid his lawyer legal fees.

I pay my lawyer legal fees.

Paying a lawyer money is classified as paying legal fees.

Welcome back.

So have you had time to prepare your answer on what the entries should have been in the accounting books?
If not 'legal', what?
