I agree wholeheartedly. This is really NEXT LEVEL totalitarian crap. And what is truly frightening is if they can do this to TRUMP, they can do it to ANYONE they don't like for ANY REASON they see fit.

This proves the Black community was right all along about the Judicial system was rigged against them. We sure have seen it in more than just Red states. Blue states went the other way since BLM and now they let anybody out for any reason IF they are not DJT, or one of his MAGA's.

This gives new meaning to "Trumped" up charges made up against anybody

"Trumped up charges" refer to accusations or legal charges that are fabricated, exaggerated, or distorted to serve a particular agenda or to wrongfully incriminate someone. These charges are typically not based on genuine evidence or valid legal grounds but are created to falsely accuse an individual for political, personal, or other ulterior motives. The term suggests deceit and manipulation to achieve an unjust outcome.

You don't see that noone has been convicted in this way ever before? They used a nonexistent crime as evidence to charge another crime.

A coverup of a crime that hasn't even been charged is ridiculous.

To continue with your murder comparison, can you convict a person of lying about not committing a murder if they have not committed that murder and have not even been charged with murder?

Are you saying Cohen lied and Trump really had no idea his money was being used to cover up a scandal prior to his campaign, which is illegal in New York? Because that's the issue. If Cohen lied, prove it. Appellate court exists for a reason.

But if he didn't....

Trump was accused of falsifying business records. The prosecution presented enough evidence that convinced a jury that business records were not only falsified at the direction of Trump but that the intent behind it was to cover up other crimes.

So Trump has been convicted of covering up other crimes that have not been charged? Are we charging for future convictions now? I would like to see that legal crystal ball.

From what I understand, the payment of the 'hush money' was made long before Trump ever considered running for president and without his involvement. I do not understand how it is relivent to his presidential campaign.

Hi. I'm here to attempt a little of this excoriation that you say you are expecting for speaking your mind, ok?

First though, let's take a peek at what Webster's has to say about excoriation. They define it as ''to censure scathingly''.
That makes sense to me as that is the definition I have always attributed to the word though I suppose you must have a different definition in mind. After all you HAVE been here for at least a couple of weeks and for one reason or another come to these forums for a purpose, right? Having seen your posts before I can see that you pretty much are in line with a majority of political positions as well as out right opinions that fill these political forums day in and day out. Right?

I also notice that at the time of this typing, only one member has, it seems, made an attempt to offer a reply that varies with not only your OP but the general course of the thread. So, at least so far, your expectations have been totally incorrect. I wonder why this is.

Could it be that you have missed the general tone of the majority of posters on these forums? I seriously doubt that, no one could be that dumb. So it must be something else. Maybe it is that you share this martyr complex that Trump has been pushing for so long, this idea that he, and all his followers are victims and none of the problems this nation faces are their faults at all. Yeah, that might explain your expectations of censure ship on a Pro Trump website. It fits right in.

That aside though, I agree with you that Trump does have flaws and faults, though I think that we might appreciate the severity of those shortcomings of his to a wildly varying degree. As for the, what did you call it, ''weaponized judicial system'' (isn't that what Trump calls it ?) I think that Boomer addressed that pretty well, it was law enforcing law whether or not criminals like it or not.

So I hope that this hasn't been to ''scathing'' for your persecution complex to handle and who knows, this post may even make it past the, oh, dare I say it, censors?

If you think that Boomer addressed the problem of a heavily politicized judicial system pretty well, that just means you are on the same mental level as he is.

Although to be honest I don't think you as slow as he is...

I just think you are OK with it because it works for your particular political viewpoint.

Pro Tip... you are missing the bigger picture.

The truth is you probably don't know how to vote, but you have an opinion on ATS.

That's cool.

You are still on the wrong side of history and if you did know how to vote, you are going to vote for your own demise because your owners cannot let you vote after they have taken control over everything.

Because after all, they don't just want you out there voting for the next big regime change that you don't understand.

And I understand why you don't understand that.

I actually agree with it.

The sooner, the better...

You are later going to be called the "amusing eaters".

By those better than you.

That's good to know..if true.
Hillary will be hung then after she is prosecuted for the Steele dossier. It seems like the tables will be turning soon... its no wonder the dems are pis'ing themselves. Obama will be in jail for killing at least one American overseas in a drone attack and Joementia will finally be prosecuted for all of the classified docs he hoarded in multiple unsecured locations that he was not allowed to have, and that have been used for his financial gain.

The same year he was elected was "long before" he ever considered campaigning for office? 🤔
