It ain't over:

Rule 11. Certiorari to a United States Court of Appeals before Judgment

A petition for a writ of certiorari to review a case pending in a United States court of appeals, before judgment is entered in that court, will be granted only upon a showing that the case is of such imperative public importance as to justify deviation from normal appellate practice and to require immediate determination in this Court. See 28 U. S. C. § 2101(e).

democracy was indeed saved today. Just think if that orange man was free to pay lawyers at his whim. AND classify that as a legal expense! The HORROR!

Well, nothing left to do now but to hammer home the point that Trump is a convicted felon, at least until the appeal. But that won't matter, because the intended goal has been met. Joe Biden doesn't have to debate Trump, and Joe can coast into Obama's 4th term. Well played.

The prosecution presented over 200 exhibits of evidence and called 20 witnesses to support their case. In the end, it was enough to convince 12 jurors that Trump was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

That doesn’t answer the question/ignoring what was posted

Listing for paying a lawyer to obtain a NDA as a legal fee with the amounts accurate has no intent to defraud.

Trump wasn’t convicted of any other crimes. No evidence Trump conspired to commit a crime with Cohen.

And “the commission” was to obtain a NDA which is legal to do. And NDA’s have a a long history of being used by politicians.

If a person loans a person running a campaign money to be paid back, is that an illegal campaign contribution?

Right now, they are giddy over their supposed victory.

They won't understand the implications till they are dragged from their house in the middle of the night for something they said or posted on line.

How can it be a scam trial, when it’s so blatantly obvious he did what he was accused of?

Dear God you are right.

He paid "legal fees" to a lawyer.

OMG I'm going to puke! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Officer Fanone's 78-year old mother was swatted shortly after his appearance with de Niro the other day.

As despicable as it is let’s be real.
They knocked on the door and she answered it.
Calling it a swatting is disingenuous.

That bum cop, who voted for Trump, thinks it was Trump related.
No evidence.
He’s a wacko like Dinero.

The vast majority of the swattings have been on republicans.
The democrats are In charge and have not addressed these crazies from the swatting until one of their own was targeted.

Except it does answer the question. The prosecution presented a case that convinced the jury that the payment to Stormy was more than just a simple NDA and recording it as a legal fee was meant to cover up the illegal nature of the original payment.

Tell me more how Stalin's Moscow Trials and gulags operate.....

Well, a populist politician, the centre of a pervasive personality cult, where he worked his way up from small beginnings until he took control as totalitarian dictator and would not leave office.

Primary to his consolidation of power was to remove previous political staff and replace them with people subservient to him. Of course, may of the ones he replaced were doing their jobs well, and so he had to make up crimes for which he could remove them. Despite his party being the Communist party, many of his opponents and subsequent academics called him a "rightist".

Stalin at first accused all his rivals of crimes but after a short while started having them executed as "enemies of the people", to speed their removal.

Surprisingly, this extended to very-very many of the people, who were somehow also "enemies of the people", with over a million of these "enemies of the people" imprisoned (in 'gulags' - meaning 'work camps') and over 700,000 of them executed directly. This does not include the up to 7 million people that died of starvation due to his stupid political mismanagement and ethnic displacement policies.

Yes, we should look to history and never allow politicians to; establish tyranny, unconstitutionally or illegally consolidate their power in a single person or small group, negate Constitutional rules, overstay political terms, or to deny democratic processes. Eh?

He reimbursed Cohen and grossed it up to cover the taxes. Why would you do that unless you were deliberately disguising the reimbursement as legal fees?

Either way, it’s over. You can keep parroting Trumps claims of there being no crime all you want, but the reality is his just been convicted of all 34 counts.

Is the Biden administration just trying to threaten anyone who'll vote against him at this point? This corruption is beyond comprehension to me as an American. The verdict will obviously be appealed successfully. So what is the point of this? They literally sent a washed up celebrity to campaign for them outside the courtroom. For what optics? Over half the country is now officially divided. Mission accomplished? What am I missing here?

This is beyond a reasonable doubt election interference. These judges and officials will most likely see jail time in a few years. I just don't understand it. Trump is the most investigated person in history. The most targeted. Any crime attributed to him has been disproven, yet proven against every adversary of him. Jail Trump? Fine. Then Jail the Clintons, Obama, Biden, and all the judges and prosecutors, the lawyers, and trash it all. Welcome to Biden's America, where law is selective and subjective.

Lady liberty ain't blind, and I can see her crying. What a disgrace. Just because Joe is senile, doesn't mean he gets to drag the rest of the world down with him.

ETA: man, a hole in the wall in New York sells for 1 mil these days. You're telling me Mar-a-Lago is somehow worth peanuts even though nobody lost money?

Just want to reiterate, none of you coward Liberals and anti-Trumpers had the integrity or the balls to call this what it was to our faces that it was a sham trial.

You know it was, 100%

No guts, no balls, no integrity and ya know what? It doesn’t surprise me that you weak and fragile clowns couldn’t dig deep for some balls and man up to tell us you knew it was a sham and rub it in our faces.

I refuse to believe that every damn one of you are that F’ing stupid to really think it was a fair trial.

But if you are all that stupid, god help you.

I think it goes beyond willfull ignorance.

Which had nothing to with..

Is the summation false.

First, a refresher on how the misdemeanor case becomes a felony. The misdemeanor charge of falsifying business records in the second degree says that a person is guilty when, with intent to defraud, he “makes or causes a false entry in the business records of an enterprise.” The first-degree felony charge says that the state must prove that the intent to defraud “includes an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof.”

www.msnbc.com...

Listing for paying a lawyer to obtain a NDA as a legal fee with the amounts accurate has no intent to defraud.

Trump wasn’t convicted of any other crimes.

And “the commission” was to obtain a NDA which is legal to do.

What is the bases this was a felony. You keep using innuendo, but you never really answer the question. What is the other crime Trump was found guilty of and complicit in to make this a felony.

I've already told you that the predicate crimes don't need be be charged and convicted under the statute of which Trump was found guilty. The jury just needs to be convinced that the accused's intent for falsifying business records was to attempt to commit or cover up other crimes.

The jury were presented with three possible predicate crimes and all 12 jurors were convinced that Trump was falsifying business records to cover up at least one of those predicate crimes.

See you all November 6th. That is all that matters right now. Not this. Not the documents trial.

Perhaps I'm wrong here but did everyone forget about 2020 and the subsequent clownshow of j6?

Because hanging hats on November are all but sure to result in a sequel....and not a good one.

If Trump had won (which many believe he did) I am 100% convinced Democrats would have rioted, looted and burned the building down....and nothing would have happened to any of them.

The proof is 2016, for those with the mentality to remember back that far.

If the defendant is innocent until proven guilty and is not found guilty of any other crime or conspiracy to commit a crime, what crime is Trump guilty or complicit in to make this a felony.
