He was found guilty, of all charges, by a 12 person jury that he and his defence team participated in the selection of. There was even a delay when they contested the first jury selection, which the judge allowed.

But, aside from that, I don't believe that even the most ardent pro-Trumpers believe that he didn't pay to quash bad publicity.

He has claimed in his defence that everyone is lying, but the foundation of his defence is that he didn't do anything of what we all know he did. He even stated it again (several times) outside the court after the verdict had been given. That is so obviously untrue.

He paid sums of money to hush up things that would be potentially damaging to his campaign, during campaigning, and then directed others to hide those payments.

When the details of those payments came out, he then lied directly and said he didn't know anything about them, but there is hard evidence and testimony that he did and in fact gave direction for his employees to both make the payments, and to cover up the payments and he also provided the money to make those payments.

He is guilty of all charges, not because of some giant conspiracy involving everyone on the prosecution side, and all Democrats, and Joe Biden, but because he is guilty. Those charges were brought because of events that were known publicly before the charges were laid.

I miased that testimony. Who, besides Cohen, said that?

Interesting outcome.

First I need to say I can't stomach Biden or Trump. Neither of them has any business being the POTUS.

My take on this is that the verdict pretty much guarantees a Trump win. They just lit a fire under all of his supporters and the voter turnout will be way beyond any other election historically. Of course, that's my prediction.

Either way, We the People lose. There is no way to win when both candidates are incompetent. If there were ever a time for a true Statesman to step up and dramatically take the election it is now, but the partisans of both parties would be too naive to vote outside their tribes.

I'm also of the opinion if Biden does win, he will serve for a couple of weeks and step aside and appoint whoever benefits his family financially the most to be VP and take over.

Sigh!

Edited to say, Biden is about money and Trump is about power. Neither is about the People.
