Voted ReformUK and was proud to do so. So have my entire family

I just voted for Reform, but I'd bet all my money it's a wasted vote.
It's only EVER been a Conservative MP, or an occasional Lib-Dem/Liberal who has represented my constituency.
Now the Conservative vote is split with Reform, I am assuming the Liberal democrat candidate will win.

I wanted the lib-dem guy as MP because he has been a fantastic local councillor, so I'm convinced he'll be a good constituency MP...but I just couldn't vote for him because his party wants us to go begging our way back into the EU, major red line for me.

So, democratic right fulfilled, I'm more interested now in comparing Reforms national vote share with the lib-dems, then counting the number of MPs...and wondering if 'first past the post' needs changing to something more representative of national opinion?

My vote has been cast , no secret who I voted for.

Labour is set for a big majority so if you think immigration is bad now you aint seen nothing yet , our Country faces its biggest threat since WW2 under Globalist Kier Starmer we need people in Parliament who will speak up for British values and Reform is the only party who will do that.

Starmer's worst nightmare is having Nigel Farage in Parliament , I hope the people of Clacton make Starmer's nightmare a reality and the rest of us return as many Reform MPs as possible , this is our final chance to save our Country , please don't waste it.

At least RIshi will be out. That's a positive even if there won't be any others tomorrow.

Wonder how long before he #s off back to America? I give it less than 3 months.

Maybe the Libs will be Labour's Opposition?

Who will replace Rishi? Who will be left!

I'm thinking something crazy could happen, based solely on the 2020's being the craziest decade in my half century alive.
So, I'm gonna look at betting odds on Farage becoming leader of the opposition now!🤣

Half century? Why, you young whippersnapper....

I can see Reform getting maybe 20% of the vote with a handful of MPs.

But, who knows? Polls have been way wrong before.

Whippersnapper lol, but pretty childish to be fair, ran away from home aged 16 and never really 'grew up' just learned how to pretend to be mature, so I could pseudo-conform!

I know it's probably gonna be 20% at best share of the national vote, but this decade has been crazy so far...I'm kind of excitedly hoping for a "SHOCK" result tomorrow, if only so I don't have to listen to Starmer going "my dad was a toolmaker" for the next 5yrs!

edit on 4-7-2024 by AdultMaleHumanUK because: Typo lol

I think you will be proven right. I have a feeling 'in my water' as they say that we are going to have quite a few surprises and not least the argument for proportional representation will be 'front and centre'....... because the ruling party wont want to be talking immigration now will they.

Which considering this is Reform's first real shot would be an impressive achievement and send a warning shot at the other parties for the 2028 / 29 election.

After seeing Farage's performances in the EU Parliament I look forward to his presence in the UK Parliament , should the people of Clacton make it so.

From what I'm seeing there is a lot of support for Reform among younger voters , could they provide the shock ?

There was a poll done across the 16-18 year olds a couple of days ago, and Reform stormed it with them!
Starmer wont like that!!!
That's his 'cunning plan' up the spout!!!

I've been awake since 4am! Bloomin' house move has messed my circadian clock a little.
But you're right, the exit po;;s will be very interesting.
I wonder if it will be the same area to declare a return first as they did with the referendum? Up in the NE somewhere, and they voted leave! The area has a history of first returns.
