Am I wrong, but wasn't the horrible little shister a canvaser/activist, not actually a candidate?
Either way, Farage has looked into him and declared it a paid stitch up by Channel 4.
Interestingly, the Conservative amputee MP was on GBNews an hour ago and he's known Farage for years. I didn't know that said MP (name escapes me) had left conservatives to join UKIP to do Brexit, and then went back to Cons. Anyway, he said there is absolutely no way Farage is a racist.

You are correct , Farage can be held accountable for what his candidates say but activists are free agents.

TPTB are worried by the coming Tsunami , dirty tricks are the order of the day.

On a brighter note former Tory doner and former owner of Newcastle United , Sir John Hall , has defected to Reform UK.

Sir John Hall, the former Newcastle United owner, joined Reform UK leader Nigel Farage at an election rally in Durham on Thursday to announce his support for the party.

Mr Farage said the miner's son, who helped fund Theresa May's 2017 election bid, had given Reform UK a donation, but did not confirm how much.

He thanked Sir John "for coming out so publicly for us" and said the property developer was a "major success story, a role model".

The 91-year-old has donated more than £500,000 to the Conservative Party and helped fund Mrs May's 2017 snap general election.

That'll cost Reform a lot of votes in The Toon and surrounding areas!

As for me?
I've finally decided - I don't really give a toss.
I'm going to stick a pin in and as long as its not The Tories they'll be my choice.
They're all a shower of #e.

I'm more concerned with far more pressing matters; what song am I going to perform tomorrow night?
Its my best mate's wife's 50th and she loves karaoke - I emphatically don't.
But I know she will force me to get up and sing something - which is a painful experience for all concerned.

I'm trying to think of something either unexpected and/or thoroughly inappropriate that will make people laugh whilst also begging for no more.

I( really dont care any more. Its plain that the whole racism thing only goes one way in this country and I'm white, why should I care if black or brown people get a raw deal out of someone?
They certainly don't lose any sleep worrying about me, do they?

No surprised to hear that. Reform are the " love child " of The Tory Party.

Too many ex Tory backers given them their support. We have already had 14 bloody years of Toryism, who would want to vote to prolong it.

As I see it we've been sold out by the people who are supposed to protect this Country , it's time to put a fire cracker up their arse and watch them dance.

I couldn't agree more.

So many people, Labour/Conservative/Other just feel pissed off and completely ignored and disenfranchised by the political system and the current Labour/Tory and other major parties who both ignore and take them for granted.....all whilst pandering to every special interest group imaginable.

The people of these Great islands have been shat on from a great height for far too long.
Personally I think its time for us all to unite and stand up and demand better; better for ourselves and better for our children and their children.

Emotive and lacking substance and detail?
Yes.

Hmmm.... beginning to think Labour will get a majority, but not quite the landslide poll's are suggesting. Just a feeling.

A lot of people may head back to the conservatives instead of voting Reform now.
Concerted effort by the media to take down Reform over the past couple weeks especially seems to be working.

That seems not to be the case , this may be the poll mentioned by Jane which shows Reform's momentum is continuing.

The Tories appeared to be on the brink of catastrophe in the general election as a new poll gave Nigel Farage’s Reform UK a three-point lead.

The Whitestone poll for Reach plc newspapers put Reform on 21 per cent, the Tories on just 18 per cent while Labour maintained a clear lead on 38 per cent.

The devastating result for Mr Sunak means that the position of leader of the opposition, which Mr Farage covets, appears to be wide open.

However, according to Electoral Calculus in a general election this would leave the Conservatives on a mere 50 seats, give Reform 29 but the Lib Dems would be the official opposition with 74 seats.

The shock poll comes despite a string of scandals to hit Reform and Mr Farage over the last week.

Obviously the only poll that matters will be next Thursday but I think next Friday there will be a lot of sad Conservative MPs and many happy Reformists.

Contrary to what Gil Scott-Heron said it seems this Revolution will be televised.

To the right, Sunak does not want to be wartime PM and Farage is all jaw-jaw and not war-war. To the left, Starmer is out to prove his is strong and decisive and not at all peacemaker.

Latest poll, combined 39% to the right and 38% to the left.

Do British voters want war? Sunak wants conscription but does not want to preside over the fallout. I am not sure what I am trying to say here, just speculating.
