I fully support this on all levels.
Let’s see how supportive they are when it’s their arse being sent over there.

Nazis and the KKK have been having marches and offensive signs for decades. A Jewish lawyer on the ACLU argued for their right for speech as long as that’s all it was.

I don’t remember any republicans proposing bills against them.

And they were very vocal about Jews and blacks here, not another country.

So what’s different here?

They are actually hurting people and infringing on their rights.

What other crimes can I be deported for right now?

This bill .. which will go nowhere I'm sure ... is saying that the pro-hamas agitators who are convicted of crimes ... and many have been charged with trespassing, assault, burglary, etc ... while protesting in favor of Hamas ... should have as their punishment a 6 month banishment to Gaza instead of spending jail time here.

And it doesn't matter if other crimes do or dont' get you departed.
This is a new bill suggesting something new.
There doesn't have to be precedent.

I can't stand how everyone is calling this an "anti-war" protest.

If they were protesting against war, then why aren't they protesting Russia?

Plus, this isn't even a war we're in, so all I can figure is that it's an Anti-Israel, or anti-Jew protest.

WTF. Even though this is highly illegal and patently unAmerican, it doesn't even makes sense to begin with.

The people that are AGAINST genocide should get sent to be killed in that genocide?

That's upside down.

The people that SUPPORT genocide should get sent to Gaza to see first hand what they are supporting.

If it were anti-war then they wouldn't be chanting the genocidal call-to-war slogan 'from the river to the sea'. That's not an anti-war slogan. Just the opposite. And they wouldn't be screaming 'kill the jews' and 'we know where you live' and 'intifada' and 'every day will be october 7th', etc etc

As I said, it'll probably go nowhere and is probably illegal anyways ... but it's fun to think about.

That's what this bill would do. It would send those who are convicted of a crime while protesting in favor of Hamas, right over to Gaza so they could experience life with those who also call for genocide of the Jews. that's what 'from the river to the sea' is ... a call to GENOCIDE .. and that's what these useful idiot protestors are calling for.

It's lawfare.

Most posters here were appalled seeing it used against Trump.

When people see it used against the people they don't like,

the little hypocrites say it's "fun".

When you are living in a world where you are forced to sit in a Court room or deported while your case is appealed, just remember it was YOU who created it.

People of the mentality of little school children......

You can't do this stuff, not against Trump, not against college protestors, or anyone else you may not like.

It's not a game, doing this actually overthrows the government.

Trespassing is a misdemeanor.

But I have noticed lately we just round everyone’s action up to the worst offender.

Plenty of these young adults are guilty of being wrong. They haven’t even paid a years taxes in many cases, and got caught up in some Tik tok trend that Israel is committing a genocide (which I disagree with). They believe they’re rooting for an underdog (while forgetting what started this). And part of freedom of speech is being wrong and hearing people tell you how you’re wrong. That’s how we all arrived at our world view, with constant trial and error.

But it’s so funny to see people with such a hard on to call them all antisemitic because they’re speaking against a foreign government. No doubt some have said things about Jews as a whole, but many more haven’t.

Go on, celebrate the bills. Cheer them on and say they’re funny. Just don’t complain next time your side gets the same boot.

Should we deport people who are openly pro Russia and Putin?

If Russia takes over Ukraine, I imagine we can see an erasure of culture. That would make an argument for genocide (not one I’d die on the hill for).

So will it be OK if the left makes bills and legislation against any speech deemed as pro Russia or even Russia apologist?

Relax. It's not going anywhere and it's fun to think about. Sending the Hamas huggers to go live with the Hamas terrorists that they so admire. It would be good for them. Absolutely it's fun to think about.

It's not a game, doing this actually overthrows the government.

No it doesn't. Not even a little. That's dumb.
It's just some politician making a point.
It obviously won't go anywhere.

Good point, I bet the college kids who don’t know how to use ovens are going to do that in like a month or two.

It's obvious that you're defending these assholes.

Fine.

Where's your line?

Herr Stinker?

Nope, just don't call it anti-war protests, that's untrue.

Oh please.

Next time I see you say we shouldn’t make gun laws because of a mass shooter I’ll ask you why you’re defending the mass shooter.

I won’t actually though, because that’s a dumb argument.

Rather than wasting the taxpayers money on things like this I'd rather see them putting forth the effort to hold the CIC accountable for disobey not one but two direct SCOTUS orders, filing suit against his E.O.'s and investigating his crime family.

It gets tiresome watching politicians do nothing but waste time and money while the ship keeps sinking.
