It has begun... Iran begins attack on Israel, launches tons of drones towards the country

Some speculation that Israel may strike back tonight.

I kinda doubt that, just because right now their priority is defending the country and this isn't over yet by all indications.

Israel has a very capable air force, but they don't have an unlimited number of planes. I imagine they'll wanna wait til they have more assets available while not actively defending to launch any counterattack.

They're also gonna wanna wait to see how big this ends up being before they decide how big their counterattack will be.

The UN Secretary General condemned the Iran attack on Israel.

Kinda surprised he had the balls to do it so quickly without being shamed into it after about a week of waffling and equivocating.

He also called for all sides to refrain from any more hostilities. No surprise there.

A couple of sources have said that Netanyahu has left Israel. Which means he is probably in a USA controlled facility , for his own protection. Which means the USA is balls deep in this and will have to bear the consequences.His job is done and the path for the bombing of Iran is open.

Since it has been confirmed Russian tanks are on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, this could get hot fast. Definatly fill up your gas tanks as not much commercial shipping will be going through the straits of Hormuz.

I would imagine that the Western countries will be declaring Martial law in a few days. Which seemed to be the plan all along. Because if they attack Iran and the Russian's confirm them as allies then we will be on the brink of a hot war.But lets look on the bright side and listen to Canadian Prepper.

I don't see Iran coming out of this in a good place.

This Iranian response to Israel hitting their building is interesting.
Iran had launched over 200 drones and missiles.
Does Iran think this is overkill and is making a point?
Or is that the amount of weapons they think they need to do similar damage done to them?
It’s early but they don’t seem like they are doing the damage that one would think 200 weapons would cause.
Reminds me of how tough the Iraqi army was perceived to be.
Not very effective.

I'm sure Iran thought they'd come out of this looking tough. Instead, they look like amateurs. Hundreds of drones launched and no impact (no pun intended). If I were Israel, I wouldn't retaliate with a military response. I'd have a press conference in the morning and bust out belly laughing at the ayatollah.

The Israeli air base was "destroyed" dude says, but every other source is saying minor damage.
