When the Russian Ministry of Defense needs to issue a press release about taking out a tank...it makes them look very desperate...if not more than a bit insecure.

This thread of yours, RT, comes off much the same way.

Same day as the pride of the Black Sea fleet got destroyed?

Coincidence?

I think not.

Ummm...actually...the Russian Ministry of Defense...publishes these statistics every day...and then they publish the weekly totals at the end of every week...

You can find the daily statistics on...Tass...and also on...
Sputniknews.com

So...it's not a desperate move by any stretch...

Congrats, you have "destroyed" 4 Abrams to the 2,600 Russian tanks lost in the war with Ukraine........such an accomplishment

We are also talking about a weapon system most of these people have had almost no formal training on and were just given, compared to the Russians that are training with these weapons every day.

Why only 2600? Ukrainian propaganda rate - 2! Why not 102600?
If you lie, then lie completely)))))

Eh, I don’t think it’s wild to believe Russia had large tank losses. The war started with vastly different front lines. Russia had penetrated close to Kyiv.

They got pushed back substantially and the frontlines have been largely static for years.

If Russia was so dominant, why do they have less territory now than they did in the first days?

Ummm...I've already explained to you before...in another thread...

In March 2022 during the peace negotiations in Turkiye...Russia...as a show of good faith during the negotiations...pulled their troops from the Kiev region and positioned them in the Donetsk...Luhansk...Kherson...and Zaporizhzhia regions...

And the uncombable Boris Johnson...scuttled the peace talks...and the rest is history...

Do we really need to go for a third round of explaining the same thing...?

I remember the Battle of Antonov Airport not turning out well for Russia, and their long convoy into Kyiv getting bogged down.

But alas, let’s say they did pull away from Kyiv in good faith. They still haven’t been able to tip the scale in years. It’s been largely a static war of attrition.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Russia ultimately “wins” (at an incredibly high cost).

But this hasn’t been a show of dominance.

Russia is reportedly using some T-55 tanks and have had several blunders through this whole war. They’re three times the size in population and are getting challenged by a country using hand me downs.

They’ve lost some of their flagship vessels and are too scared to fly their next gen fighters.

What next gen fighters? The SU 57s?

How many of those do they have?

I'll raise you one Russian Naval ship .

"Ukraine reportedly destroys prized Russian vessel,"

Again .

"Ukraine has destroyed over a dozen of Russia's Black Sea Fleet ships since summer 2023"

This is a very costly war for Mr Putin .

That Russian aircraft carrier:

www.popularmechanics.com...

"A series of unfortunate events—including the sinking of its drydock and a fatal fire— has pushed back the ill-fated ship’s return by at least two years".

Soon to be another addition to glorious Russian submarine fleet?

If they ever manage to get it out of dry dock?

They have no plans to my knowledge for a second aircraft carrier.

Just constantly working on their mazut (heavy oil) fueled aircraft carrier that will turn 40 soon.

Yet many would have us believe Russia is superior to the west because they can produce shells at high volume (while also buying them from North Korea).

Very odd.
