Yeah, I read that as well which to me suggests that this woman was not really interested in shooting very many people at all and may have just wanted to make a lot of noise. Either that or she didn't plan her attack well at all. Either way, she may have just had a death wish in which case mission accomplished.

Latest is that the shooter had ant-Semitic writings.

This fits with 'Free Palestine' being written on her gun.

From what I have read, as of this morning she was always referred to as ''her'' or ''she''. I also read that this person may have once been referred to by a mans name. You can make your own conclusions on that information but to me it really makes no matter at all. And of course, that was all based on information available four hours ago and more information since may be more enlightening.

The rifle did not say 'free palestime', they said it only said 'palestine' on a sticker.

No word who shot the boy, sound suspiciously like the guards did it as little as they are mentioning it.

The guy shot in the leg is out of the hospital according to a BBC article.

Now that I have had an oppertunity to read more recent information on this event I find these statements from authorities,

Hassig being the police captain making a public statement. If this statement is true then yes, I agree with others here that these security officers were acting heroically.

If this statement is true, then again these off duty officers were doing their duty.

However, now, 24 hours later we still do not know whose bullets ended up in the head of her son or the man who was shot in the head.

Both officers discharged their weapons, but investigators do not yet know if Moreno’s son was accidentally shot by one of them, Finner said. The boy remained in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.

So how is it that 24 hours later, there is still no official conformation on who shot the woman's son. Her or the security officers.

Have I missed verifiable links as to this in this thread? What I could find was that she was a she and the boy was her son. She had in the past used aliases of both sexes. Is there any news as to her having under gone a sex change other than the rumor mill?

How much of that is speculation I wonder. Here is the link from Gateway Pundit with some mug shots of her. All of them look like she was a female especially the one from 2005 which was 19 years ago. As she is now being said to have been 36, that photo would have been when she was 17 or there abouts. See that picture? She looks like a female in each one of them including the oldest one.

I wonder why so many people are ready to make her out to have been a man rather than a woman who at times used a male moniker.

Fox news has just stated that she is a biological female that has at times gone by both male and female names. I don't think it is transgender as much as criminal alises.

The trans stuff seems to be stuck in a lot of places about her. I also don't think that will clear up any time soon.

Also, there is some confusion about her being an illeagle alien. I haven't seen anything on this. She may have entered legally.

This seems to me to be a logical assumption seeing as her mug shot history has such strong appearances of her being female at least back to that age of 16 or so.

Also, are the stories of her being an illegal anything more than villain hunting euphoria? Seems like it's a bit of piling on to me seeing as she already demonstrates a great amount of mental immaturity. I also agree with the original statement put out by the police chief that it was she who is really to blame by putting the child in harms way, regardless of who fired the weapon that caused the damage.
