There is. Darko was at one point in time at least, the or one of the owners (or "Chief Communications Officer") of My Patriot Supply. it still doesn't explain why they ghosted us though.

This ghosting business is another modern phenomenon, people are so sensitive and self important these days, if you don’t pander to their every whim, or give them the slightest offence, that’s it, you’re done, out, finished.
Perhaps that’s what happened? Maybe the ATS crowd didn’t like the changes made and Darko didn’t like that? Maybe they didn’t suck up to him enough like they did Septic Overclod?

Maybe people have just turned into big cry babies because of all this political correctness and smart phone safe space bubbles?

Hopefully the current discussion about ATS potentially going offline in a couple of weeks are based on a false alarm, but I hope others are also archiving ATS material in various formats.

I have been in touch with a few people that have done a lot of work to save significant parts of the text of ATS (and, with their help, downloaded most threads as at 2023) and have also - in relation to the UFO threads of interest to me (particularly where some of the old guard have given me permission...) - archived quite a few of the key UFO threads as searchable PDFs.

My main focus is on the latter, i.e. PDFs of my own threads and selected threads of some of my friends/colleagues here on ATS.

I posted a bit about this in the UFO forum last November after ATS appeared to be on the brink of collapse (when all users were locked out of their account and the current ownder seemed to be absent):

You can’t beat a bit of irony, nothing better than the pot calling the kettle black. I see it here all the time. I just wish people would lighten up, there is nothing wrong with taking the micky on occasion, a bit of sarcasm and all that. Bill Hicks was the master at it.

I decided to save the posts' HTML on a database, that way I have the links for the images and videos.

It is speculation, but from what I have read about what happened, it all points to an attempt at gaining access to the database through an SQL injection.

From what chatter I picked up online a while ago ArMap , a certain Darko was on Reddit looking for people to attack the site ? .
