May 23, the day the site may go black, is also a FULL MOON.

May 18 the domain name expires. If it's not renewed, there is a five day grace period that ends May 23. Then Godaddy can pull the plug.

And the name status is HERE

No one has seen the owners in years and they don't communicate with the staff. They have left the place to rot. It's highly questionable if they are going to spend the money to renew the domain name.

That's a total bummer. I doubt there are any good alternative websites to ATS. are there any? or is this going to be like chatrooms going the way of the dodo.

I don't know what came of that.

gortex mentioned the "contact the Domain holder" form on GoDaddy's page.

SchrodingersRat tried the link and it didn't appear to work.

I mentioned that he should click the link at the bottom of the white area.

No more posts about it.

Of course. I think you did too when we first spoke about this whole mess.

I've called his businesses, spoke to his online friends, messaged him on any of his numerous linkedin and socials. His wife too. Nobody has seen hide nor hair.

His Facebook comments are nothing but people expressing concern about not hearing from him either. I've even checked nationwide for any possible arrests, and checked into the Nevada court records and didn't find # but an old traffic stop. I've also scoured obituaries and I've found nothing.

He's been a ghost since November.

I've been there. Probably around 1979 too. I had hair almost as long as yours...lol.

In the 90's I started going to LBI with friends and family. We'd rent a huge house on the beach right after Labor Day when the rental prices dropped to about 1/3 of what they are in the summer.

I still love the NJ shore. But nowadays I go to Spring Lake. Beautiful town and beaches and much closer than LBI or Ocean City.

On a related note, I was able to get the "Contact Domain Holder" button to work this time. It opens up a short form asking for your email address, why you want to contact this person, etc. I filled it out and submitted it. After submitting the form it says that I might not hear back from the registrant as it is up to them as to whether or not they respond.

We'll see, I guess.

I need to adjust my timer to one month from today!

Today is April 23, we have one month until that grace period ends.
