Checking on the status of the website

Big difference in view and functionality between desktop mode and smartphone mode. And I have no expectation that's ever going to change.

Is it just me or has the "change password" function disappeared ?


I wont see any place in the account that even mentions password. I think i may have lost the password Djarums/DTOM send me , i have not able to log in with tablet since.....no big deal thought but just asking , maybe i have bad eye sight There is the login yes , but i just cant find the damn password

It's there. Just click on the Account button on the second line of the ribbon on the top.

I think your account might be verklempt. It will probably require a Mod or Admin's intervention. Hopefully they don't need to contact the owner(s) as they seem to be MIA...which is the subject of this thread, n'est pas?

You're not alone.
Several of the ATS veterans have corrupted account pages. Including a few staff.
IIRC, there was a glitch when some of the accounts migrated over to the last update SO did to the database many years ago.

When I asked years ago, I was told there is no way to fix it.
Do you still need a password reset?

It is now 9:59pm on March 30th.

But the ATS "Recent Activity" view says I made that post 5 minutes ago.

I wouldn't know how to phrase a trouble ticket on this one. Almost a Mandella Effect in play. 😟

Just when I decided to come back to the site too! go figure.

I can't access my original account, I was using a password that ended up in a data-leak and it looks like someone hacked my account and changed my email address too.

My Original Account I Need Help Recovering

I've tried to recover my password but it's telling me that my email is different (which it shouldn't be)

is there anyone who can help me get my old account back?

So we watch the website that was given earlier HERE to see if the date for the domain name changes. If it does, that means the owners are still around somewhere and intend to keep ATS up and running. If the date doesn't change ... then May 22 will be chaos and lights out on May 23.

It's been a few weeks. I checked the domain name registry.
Nothing has changed. Still set to expire on May 18.

The information is not supposed to change until it expires or is renewed.

Forgive me if this has been established already.

Are we sure the domain doesn’t auto renew?

I have a domain through godaddy and it auto renews every year. I only get an email with a receipt.

Due to domain ownership being so crucial - everyone has it on auto renew. If it’s not on auto renew, that means the owner purposely went in and changed it to not renew. Which also doesn’t make sense, as he would still want to own the domain, even if the site goes down.
