I competed against myself once, I was a champion. Competing with oneself is not called competing, it’s called training.

My daughters and I all raced go-karts competitively. They raced against a field mainly comprised of boys and one other girl, they were both state champions 3 years in a row. We practiced to reduce lap times but that all changed when Sunday race day came, they had to actually go out and prove themselves on the track. Racing/practicing against themselves didn’t prove a damn thing but competing against others certainly did. This participation trophy bs is exactly that…it’s bs. It creates a class of people that think they’re always winners when in reality that’s just not the case. Use to drive me bonkers when they played basketball at a very young age and they didn’t keep score. Parents used to ask and wonder what the score was. I’d tell them exactly what it was, they always laughed with a thx.🤣

Swimming is not a team sport.

Comparing it to a team sport is not logical.

Actually it is Annee. swimswam.com... NCAA does keep score of points in a match that are awarded to the team, same as in any team sport. I’m sure you’ve also herd of a team relay race?

The term “team sport” in swimming is somewhat controversial if you look it up. I do understand what you’re saying though as far as the individual competition categories in swimming. My niece almost made the Olympic team, barely missed it.

I'm a bit late into the discussion, but it's really simple.
There is a penis, a male sex organ near vulnerable teenage girls.
I don't give a rat's ass what the person attached to that thing believes in their heads.

A functional male sex organ should not be near minors, especially not female minors who are going through the awkward stage of puberty.
ETA: A healthy adult, even one who believes they are something they are not would not put young females into such a position.
The fact that this one does makes me doubt his intentions.

Some seem to think that there are no perverts at all amongst men in dresses and are prepared to risk the safety of women and teens for these men.

But most girls are abused by someone they know. Their fathers, uncles, family friends. Not strangers, in the presence of their mother and other girls and their mothers. Seems to me, if you're going to see a penis, this was probably one of the safest situations to do so.
