The Texas judge who approved the abortion was wrong.
So, you’re anti abortion.
And don’t like the one judges decision.
You know I’m anti abortion. I said so back on an early page of this thread . My opinion about abortion has nothing to do with this thread. I can keep my feelings separate of the facts.
That judge was wrong.
The Supreme Court stated that in their decision.
I think she’s a rotten activist judge, as I also stated before.
So now when a judge follows the law to the letter they are activist judges?
To the letter? lol
That judges ‘decision’ was only based on Kate’s petition(opinion) and not the actual court case(fact).
The Supreme Court saw right through it.
That’s why I think she’s an activist hack. She’s shady.
You seem naive to me in the workings of political and religious agenda-based people using their power.
You said that activist judge followed the law to a T. She absolutely did not. Who’s the naive one?
She was slapped down by the Supreme court for it.
The AG, Ken Paxon, is a menace to society and has a religious agenda that is polluting not only his mind and morals but the legal system.
I think he’s a crooked fool and should have lost his job in that corruption scandal but whatever.
As far as this case goes, he did his job and protected the will of the people in Texas.

Well, this woman paved the way in warning other women in similar emergency health crisis situations that they should just go out of state at the outset of issues such as these.
Just insane. Purely insane.
That anyone thinks they have the right to legislate a woman's autonomy. And then have a public vote on it.
Two steps forward, three steps back. Is what it seems to me sometimes.
There are more women than men in the USA.
Unfortunately, many of them still believe they were made from a man's rib.
It's that old thing again, Christian extremist patriarchial systemic dysfunction. It's always those old white Christian self-proclaimed self-righteous men in seats of great power.
Why is it always the Christian’s?
There are plenty of atheists, agnostics, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and women who are pro life.
Your bias is showing.

It's a travesty how they allow children to go hungry and deny women the health care they need.

My gramma tried. My parents said NO!
My parents couldn't get married in the Catholic church because my dad refused to sign papers we'd be raised Catholic.
Sometimes my gramma did take me. When I was about 5, I stood up on the pew bench -- looked around at all the ornateness -- and stated, "Does God really need all this?" LOL. My gramma was mortified.

Are you saying that you believe that there exists no constitutional right to fight for one's life against disease and medical related threats? Careful, that's a slippery slope.
I'm talking about the right to use lethal force to defend life and limb. That's the legal standard for self-defense. If the threat is an embryo or a fetus that's putting life and/or limb at risk, then taking up arms is called for, even if those arms are medically specific tools.

Do you read just one line.... Most abortions are due to a F'ed up situation. In my post that you commented on I said in the case of the OP... so different. out of 6 million pregnancies in the US each year half are unintended. That is a lot of unwanted pregnancies due to f'ups.

Again, any mammal can procreate. No brain power required. And they don't read the Bible.
How many pregnancies do you think are planned?
I support LIVING CHILDREN -- not the unwanted.
OK, so what? Stupid argument...

People will be people when it comes to making mistakes, so there needs to be a safety net in place where one mistake does not ruin someone's health, happiness or freedom.

Yes.
I was divorcing my husband because he was jealous of his own children, and it was beginning to affect them psychologically.
But we'd been together 10 years. Lots of emotions. We had a "cry night". I was on the pill but threw it up.
I chose my LIVING CHILDREN over an accident.
Last think I needed was to bring another child into this situation.
I prefer to have productive members of society.

Okay. So, instead of agreeing that women's lives are protected from life threating pregnancies through the 2nd Amendment, you're telling me that Texas is being super generous and altruistic for even allowing an abortion exception if a woman's life is at risk, seeing as she has no constitutional right.
We see you!
