4 of the main stories are about how horrible Trump is and why he will destroy the world. If you look at Fox news, you have adds running about how Trump was great, but he can't beat Biden, so another choice must be made.

The abject fear of a second Trump presidency is at a staggeringly alarming level. It doesn't matter if you love him or hate him, but have you ever in your life seen such a coordinated effort against one man?

I have ideas as to why the fear is so high, but I won't know how right that is until after the elections.

To see the decline in our nation (USA) over such a short time sure looks scary, almost as if every bit of this has been deliberate. From the Afghan withdraw, to the weakness on the world stage. And because of the negative messaging against Trump, the lack of leadership over the last 3 years has been largely overshadowed. The MSM covers for the entire failing admin on every action, other than the huge divide over the middle east.

We have allowed the media to take way too much control over the messaging, to the point that an entire narrative can be adopted like a religion in a matter of hours. Looking for just the truth? LOL, not gonna happen. Everyone lies, and they lie bigley. The few who try to think on their own, cannot find trustworthy news from any real source, as that really doesn't exist in 2023. Times will change very soon, and I fear they will just get worse. On that, nothing would make me happier than to be dead wrong.

This is what I've been trying to relay here on ATS.

It's very hard work tracking down true investigative reporting/journalism but be prepared because when you do find a journalist who has done their own investigation some members here will still dismiss it or try to discredit the journalist. What the issue really seems to be is staunch indoctrination into flawed ideologies which mainstream media feeds and unfortunately which makes the reader even more cemented in their flawed ideology or confirmation bias. At this point in time, I don't see any way forward where some members here will even try to look at both sides let alone a third impartial side trying to find the real truth.

No one is in fear of Nazis or Christians.

What we are concerned about is the clear and present danger Republicans are to democracy. It's a real thing, and most of us don't really want Trump at the helm of a Republican State.

Perhaps a theocracy with Trump in power for a couple decades appeals to you. Not so much to me.

if you stayed away from left bias media sources and focus on just past center either way you'd probably have better luck with that.

when you constantly post sources with emotionally charged words, phrases, and sensationalized headlines and stories most people are going to see it for the bullsh@@ it is.

Yes, it does look "scary," one, me, could say that it almost looks like a plan, a script being played out. Step One: instigate a problem (terrorist stupidly attack a country). Step Two: the attackee attacks the terrorists (who are variously related to most of the Middle East populations). Step Three: Relationships automatically draw support to either side (creating multiple wars of disruption and destruction beyond the original causes). Step Four: Both the civilized world and the not so civilized world bring themselves down to basic a existence in all aspects of what had passed for a civilization. Step Five: Diplomatic settlements impossible at all levels, a call goes out to more intelligent beings to come manage the world. Step Six: The Alien Agenda has worked. Can you list like 3 or 4 things that you see as "clear and present danger"? I'm not sure you can even suggest that after the last 3+ years with the liberals.

At first it was funny. Seeing Joe falling all over the place, shaking hands with invisible people, speaking gibberish. I used to laugh till I cried. Something changed though. I began to notice that everything that the DNC claimed Trump would do in office never happened. Then, just as soon as Joe was put in office, those terrible predictions began coming true.

The only thing on the list he hasn't accomplished yet is starting WW3. Or has he........

I don't care who wins anymore I just want affordable rent groceries utilities and don't want to be forced to buy an electronic vehicle.

It`s allways the stories ,incredible stories ... often so compelling, so full of persuasive detail, that we believe in it wholeheartedly.

Stories keeps us in illusion ,tricking people into perceiving a false reality.

So when they make the stories, grand narratives , it get in to peoples heads , more or less . This then change the World .

Stories and our lack o defence to resist false stories is major force what turns now society in to madness.

Your confirmation bias is at work to label those independent sources as left wing. It doesn't work any more.

The word democracy is not even mentioned in the Constitution.

I'd love to understand more of this thinking. to be honest, it sounds like you mainline MSNBC and have Rachel Madow posters on your walls. I can grasp that there are some nut jobs all around, but I just don't see how patriotism will do more harm than Marxism. Could you go more in-depth please.
