In discourse of the whole phenomenom of critisism, a useful strategy may be to single out Epstien's theory for attack, using the attached Fletcher Knebel article and Spectator piece for background.

There is one more recent. What if I told you that "9/11 Truth" didn't start out as a means to expose an "inside job?"

It started out as a way to force state and federal investigative agencies to make public the perpetrators of the attack, and failures of government agencies. The goal; begin class-action lawsuits to benefit the families of the victims.

I was there, in the basement of St. Mark's church in lower Manhattan when the group formed. Not long after that, someone who latter admitted to being a provocateur showed up with bombs-in-the-buildings ideas from the WebFairy and through bombastic diligence, converted the group.

Flat earth and to a lesser extent Q seem a pursuit to those ends.

I never understood Q. The best explanation I have heard was that it was just an AI program that would grap topics that got a lot of hits on the net and run with them. It also could be a guy in their mom's basement for the last 30 years.

We also need to try to understand that they do not want to actually disprove or prove their beliefs in any way outside of some supporting YouTube and group chat. Maybe it makes them feel special...

The trick is to make your rabbit hole very shallow so you can enjoy life no matter what it is as you don't go down very deep before you hit the bottom.

I don't understand the longevity of Q but I do understand its basis and the allure.

To your point, taking a sub-culture that has a certain measure of popularity, and turning it into content is a business model. A successful one at that.

What I don't understand is that at some point, the logic breaks, the facts don't equate and the desired result is always 2 steps and a carrot away, if you get my drift.

Sounds like a winnable objective.

The thing with 9/11 is it truly fine-tuned my skeptic skills. After all that I realized the best approach to a conspiracy was to follow the logistics to make it all happen. When you do that it all spirals apart very quickly, or it actually spells out a case that it is real.

Think about the logistics of wiring up the buildings, the people involved, the companies involved, the time it would take...

Then think about the variables as in when and where the planes hit the buildings. Who calculated that the plane that hit lower would collapse the building faster and have it start on the variable of where the planes hit each building?

Everything just spirals out of control to calculate the odds of perfection, or just maybe it just happened...lol

We also spent too much time on the how and not the why or who.
