And, as usual, this has nothing whatsoever to do with how anyone in that city decorates their homes. It only has to do with how city workers decorate city buildings, like city hall.

How would people react if statues of Ba'al Hammon were set up in city hall? Or Cronos?

And yeah, I don't hold my employer in very high regards. I'm pretty sure, that in Lansing (our capitol) they have set up some kind of satan worship decorations in the past, for "equality" and of course people lost their minds.

The City of Wauwatosa’s deputy city administrator has instructed city workers that they should avoid using red and green in public spaces to celebrate Christmas. Instead, top city officials are urging them to decorate counters with purple and blue and “snow people,” what the administrator appears to be calling snow men.

My inlaws have a family tradition of 'The Bite'. Mordida, mordida! They chant after the candles are blown out.

The birthday kid is supposed to lean over and take a bite of the cake without using hands.

Somebody(s) then pushes the kids face into the cake.

THen its a cake throwing free for all.

Look, I'm a witch, and not Christian at all, and I don't think Christmas as a tradition has to be Christian,
but when you go changing the core traditions, then it's not Christmas anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for someone having a black tree as a stylistic choice,
but, like, the wording of that article makes it sound like they're trying to politicize a fun holiday.

It's just tradition. The whole fun of Christmas is that we basically do the same stuff every year.

Simply put: If it's not Christmas, then why would you need "alternate" Christmas stuff.
