The abortion thing is the driving force here, and it's largely due to DERPs.

The SCOTUS decision gave the States the ball, and left it up to them to decide. That is what is currently being done.
Once the states have ruled as they see fit, the dust will settle, some super DERPs in Illinois will cry over decisions made in Mississippi, without realizing they don't live there, and can't vote there. But once the states have dealt with this, the dems will be back to holding no cards, and hoping that everyone forgets the gargantuan train wreck Biden has been.

Buck up bitches, you can move to Ohio and kill that little crumb snatcher an hour before he pops out.

Seems to me only one side is getting butt hurt about the decision in Ohio and even questioning how democracy works.

Rick Santorum: (LOL)

“You put very sexy things like abortion and marijuana on the ballot, and a lot of young people come out and vote. It was a secret sauce for disaster in Ohio,” Santorum whined Tuesday night on Newsmax.

“Thank goodness that most of the states in this country don’t allow you to put everything on the ballot, because pure democracies are not the way to run a country.”

Rick Santorum Says Quiet Part Out Loud After Republican Election Losses

Dosen't bode well for the GOP.... If the dembs decide to use Ricks statement as a campaign meme. I wonder what Rick would replace "democracy" with?

How about a functioning economy and a sound currency.

"It's the economy stupid" James Carville
Abortion is not banned, it is rightfully placed in the States authority.

And the States are broke and dysfunctional financial stewards.

Abortion is important to people (right and left) but on a scale of 1-10 it is a 1.
The economy and the ability to feed, House, cloth and heat your home?
10, 10, 10 and 10.

Only a small percentage of single women care more about abortion over the economy and without ene.edia support you would never hear about abortion during these insane economic times of difficulty.

The way I read this is it is a talking point for why election fraud isn't happening and something disingenuous like people now vote because they dislike someone more than the guy they are forced to support.

Nothing but talking points to misdirect attention away from fraud and graft.

By the time the federal elections take place it is the economy stupid

Except you have prominent Republicans in Congress and Presidential candidates discussing the possibility of a national abortion ban.

Not sure which side you refer to, but this is what the process is supposed to be. Individual states make the call for their states. If they are filled with folks who like to kill kids, POOF* they get that right. And amazingly enough, other states might vote to limit the availability for such actions, or they may not, but it's up to each state to do just that.

I don't have to agree with each state, all I have to do is appreciate the process that exists.

You mean like yesterday how Mississippi's most populated county, that just so happens to be 85% Black, was not provided enough ballots and when polling places were resupplied they got less than 100 ballots each time and then a district judge refused to extend the hours for polling places despite this.

Or how about the polling place in Pennsylvania that was in a predominately Dem area that had a bomb threat called in?

LOL, and you have me calling it murder. Who cares? The SCOTUS ruled on this. (they are the highest court in the nation in case you weren't aware) Folks can gnash teeth all they like, but the ruling has been made, and the states are voting on their positions.

As long as you have Republicans calling for a national abortion ban it's going to have an influence on national elections.

and very soon, each state will have set it's limits/or lack thereof, and there won't need to be any more discussion on the topic. Don't like it, move.

When that happens, DERP's will have to run on their policy and track record. Identity politics will fade away. Stay frosty sport.

You don't seem to understand that unless a Constitutional amendment is passed, there will always be people proposing a national ban. And even if an amendment were passed the would be people arguing to repeal the amendment so they can pass a national ban.

As long as the GOP continue to tie their horse to the abortion issue, it going to negatively affect them.

It isn't the first time the GOP has shot itself in the foot, but it might be the last if they don't learn from their mistakes.

ETA: I don't think there will ever be a cotus amendment to ban abortion, even if the house and senate were republican majority. It would never pass both houses. And since Trump is pro-choice with caveats, they wouldn't get it from him. He won't support it. (Not that I think he will ever be president again.)

So the local precincts that ran short didn't have the foresight to know how many registered voters they had vs how many ballots they had before election day? ROFLOLz they even had weeks of early voting to figure that out too ROFLOLz

Family planning is the economy. Economics is probably the #1 reason women opt for abortion. Being pregnant is costly, having and raising a kid is even more costly. It's the one economic factor women could control, when and if to add to their nuclear family.

So all the high interest rates on mortgages and loans along with all the super high price increases on things people buy the most of meant nothing this election? And the Migrant Border thing either?

I was more thinking an amendment to protect access to abortion. Similar to what we're seeing states like Ohio do with their state Constitution.

If such an amendment passed you can be sure the GOP would be out there trying to repeal it.

I haven't seen anyone, including the OP, question HOW democracy works. However, I do question whether or not it IS working in some cases. The democrats have no room whatsoever to complain when someone questions if a vote was legitimate. You folks are the all time hypocritical champions of questioning the legitimacy of elections and vote tally's, as I posted to you on the previous page.
