The soft on crime is not isolated to big cities. The most well-known “city” in my home state has about 40,000 residents and defunded the police & now we have shootings weekly, needles litter the streets and local news has a new crisis story almost daily about homeless/violence/stores closing etc. all due to the defund the police & soft on crime & hard drugs policies. That’s anecdotal but my home state can’t be the only spot where this is happening…

That, and gullible people being lied to. Go ahead, try to find out how many abortions are NOT contraceptive based. It's very difficult, because they don't want to tell you. Rape and incest is about 1%, health about 8%. That means more than 90% is just because they don't want the kid. The left says late term abortions are not really a thing, but they're as statistically probable as a case involving rape or incest. So, is 1% a big deal or not? Most people are not aware of these numbers, and gladly vote.
So, are the leaders out of touch with their congregations? I'd suggest your average voter is out of touch with facts. It's why Biden is president, after all.

the Republicans have been backing the most archaic, nonsensical, out of touch BS that anyone can possibly imagine.

Democrats have been level-headed, logical, and very in-touch with the average voters when looking at

  • what their soft-on crime & defund the police policies have resulted in
  • sanctuary cities/asking foreigners to come on in & get saved by them
  • refusing to define what is a "woman"
  • claiming the 2016 election was rigged for Trump by Russians (then said the elections since then have been the most secure ever, even while boarding up windows/stopping the count at the middle of the night, the list goes on)
  • have egg on their face with so many other "big stories" they promoted (Brett Kavanaugh accuser, Stormy Daniels & attorney Avenatti, "Russia collusion", Hunter's laptop 'Russian disinformation', etc. etc.)

Oh, there is no doubt in anyone's mind (except their own, maybe?) that they have been absolutely unhinged in the most epic way possible.

Since Roe, However, a lot of the fighting between the two has been in regards to abortion; the Right wants to force people to have kids no matter what (in some cases) and the Left wants you to be able to off them on the delivery table (not really, but that's what is claimed).

One is a massive overreach, the other is a massive under reach - the issue is that once you have the freedom and ability to do something and it's stripped away, you're more likely to swing the other way, where that freedom is still in place, if not extended.

Other than abortion, what are you speaking of?

That's pretty much what I'm referring to... They didn't wait until they had majority influence to start their Holy War on abortion, they jumped for it right out of the gate as soon as that was overturned and (in today's day and age) went several steps backwards.

They've seemingly lost support and numbers ever since then, all tying back to that, in my opinion.

Im completely aware that abortion is keeping the left in power, where on every other issue, they lose.

Sad that so many people feel that the right to kill your baby is the most important problem we face.

At least that sad fact is being exposed.

A lot of times though the uptick in crime happens when the economy slumps. People hit the bottle or pipe more and you see the fabric of society start to fray at the edges.

Tough on crime doesn’t really address the root cause, and I’m not saying we defund the police, but rather focus on the root.

We have the death penalty in a lot of the country, which is about as tough as it gets. Does that necessarily translate into lower homicide rates? Most studies say no. I don’t really mind if the death penalty stays or goes.

So what I’m getting as is this is an issue where the right and left get hung up on. It’s a wedge issue where neither side is really offering solutions, just little bandaids that look at symptoms rather than the cause. Neither are really addressing the core issue.

Like letting men in thongs and clown makeup shake their asses in kids faces?

Like giving out crack pipes?

Like letting criminals out on little or no bail?

Like letting terrorists freely enter the country?

Like cheering while people burn down cities?

Yeah, crazy policies....

Do you think the "Right" has been infiltrated by "Left" shills?

That would explain some of the turmoil along with the mail ballot rigging.

The mail ballots (not absentee ballots) are impossible to verify as genuine or fake.

TRUE!!! And Catholic Charities is one of the biggest problems in this country when it comes to illegal aliens coming in.

Is it possible Catholic Charities has been taken over by outside NGO money dominators?

I’ve said it before….

Republicans should have found something other than a woman's health to focus on.

I’m telling you right now, if you just think Democratic women have abortions, that’s hilarious.

I want you to really think about this… In a social circle, who would suffer more from an unplanned pregnancy?
A very conservative family that has a 16 year daughter that got pregnant
OR
A very liberal family that has a 16 year old daughter that got pregnant?

I’d also be willing to be that the girls from the liberal families openly talk more about sex, pregnancy and contraceptives, while the conservative families just say practice abstinence……We know with most teens/young adults that ain’t happening.

Now take those same conservative girls, some of them had abortions, some of their friends did, in utter shame. They are now voters!!!! They may not tell their families, or their partners but someone is voting for this, and I sure bet it’s not
Conservative men!

Above just talks about unplanned pregnancy, but most women know there are things that happen in wanted pregnancy too.
Women also know the violence against them with men that goes almost no where in our court systems.

Like I said before if men really don’t want abortions they need to keep their junk in their pants! Or get a vasectomy.
Time for them to stop sleeping around. A woman can only get pregnant at one time, a man can get multiple women pregnant.
Let focus on where’s there’s the leak and not the container.

Besides their fight against Mickey Mouse, and their hatred for free speech, trans kids, threats to overturn the gay marriage ruling and contraception rights AND their plans for abortion, There's their plan to defund the FBI, the CIA and the IRS. School choice is a choice to defund the Department of Education, "kill the Diversity/Inclusion/Equality woke" and instill a "Patriot curriculum".

Their inability to pass a budget, their plan to shut down the government, over the budget, to make Biden look bad. Their stupid waste of time project, looking for a reason to impeach Biden, so that he's just like Trump, impeached.

Then there is their plan to take independance from the DOJ Cabinet position, so the president can directly control the Department of Justice, and enforce more death penalties, like for pedophiles and drug dealers and political enemies.

Trump and allies plot revenge, Justice Department control in a second term

There's so much more....

Was Pennsylvania machine fraud really that bad?

"Fraud vitiates everything"
Supreme Court ruling and precedent.

When the hammer drops everything will fall.
Elections are corrupt and full of fraud.
Until they are not.

I mean, shills, plants, disinfo have all been around as long as recorded history, politics and geopolitics.

Are you asking if that is ultimately what is hindering the right? To me it just seems like an excuse. If the Right’s house was strong enough, it wouldn’t matter about the media, shills or the rest.

As far as the mail in ballots, I’m sure there were some BS ones, there’s always a measurable amount of fraud in every election. Again, are you implying that was the losing factor? That’s hard to say, but I doubt it considering the right told everyone not to do mail in ballots leading up to 2020. It’s no surprise the mail ins were primarily left leaning votes. But I won’t die on that hill.

remember gavin?

The recall election presented voters with two questions. The first asked whether Newsom should be recalled from the office of governor. The second asked who should succeed Newsom if he is recalled. A majority vote was required on the first question for the governor to be recalled. If voters had recalled Newsom, the candidate with the most votes on the second question would have won the election.

The only successful recall campaign was in 2003 when voters recalled then-Gov. Gray Davis (D). Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) was elected as Davis’ replacement. In that election, 135 candidates ran, and the winner received 48.6% of the vote.

Arnold was their sweetheart then...

They need Nancy's nephew to keep the family business afloat.

The GOP can't stop what is going to happen nationally. If a Republican supports choice, he's now a Rhino and killing the spirit of MAGA. Now who's fault is it?

Wouldn't it be much simpler if we could just blame Obama like in the good old days?

Let me correct that, Republicans have been backing it in public, but in private they sure are something else!

nypost.com...

This is a sad story about a Southern Baptist Pastor (also a Republican Mayor) that ended up committing suicide because it was found out he was a trans, and into violent debauchery in his private life.

I think a lot of people have now been privy to the hypocrisy that is the Republican Party.

I personally don’t like the Democrats either but it often ends as a choice of the lesser of two evils… and two evils they both are.
