If you want to know what carpet bombing is, look up Dresden, Hamburg, Operation Linebacker, etc.

"The Palestine Laboratory" by Antony Loewenstein, independent journalist where he was based in Israel in 2016-2020 explains the tools of occupation being tested on Palestinians. Politicide term: destroying/extinguishing Palestinian political self-determination, crush their aspirations, views, horizons, their future...ergo Israel marketed to a global audience as a Jewish supremacist ethno-national state.

What makes you think I don't know what carpet bombing is or looks like?

No, it doesn't. Lots of buildings remain.

Yes it does, lots of wide swaths of buildings that don't remain in a wide area.

And this is what the source says that you didn't quote:

"Carpet bombing, devastating bombing attack that seeks to destroy every part of a wide area."

Every part.

If IDF was doing that to Gaza there would be nothing left.

No hospitals, nothing.

Hundreds of thousands dead.

Geneva Conventions doesn't give a required number of people dead. And those two cities in the before-after photographs look completely destroyed.

Are those cities not completely destroyed? Are the satellite images not showing the whole of each city, and completely intact majority of those cities are obscured by the image cropping?

This goes beyond massacre, as the resigned official says. This is genocide by carpet bombing.

Mostly because of the lack of defining exactly what a wide area entails and that carpet bombing can be used in different degrees, can it not?

Not according to Hamas, they're not:

"The Hamas-run housing ministry has estimated that about 45% of all the housing units in the territory have been either completely destroyed, rendered uninhabitable or damaged."

You expect Israel to follow Geneva Protocols but Palestine doesn't have to?

You are admitting that Israel is not following Geneva Protocols.

It's true, Israel is massacring the civilians of Gaza a hundred times over with carpet bombing.

Palestine is not attacking Israel. Why do you keep saying this? It's wrong and you lose credibility.

Hamas attacks Israel.

Is a 1/3rd of Gaza city now destroyed not enough for you to admit to it being an atrocity?

That's an estimate and it's 3 weeks old before more hellfire thunder-death mega-slaughter, still continuing.

I'd say 45% of a city is still beyond massacre and the USA shares much of the responsibility, as the resigned state official expressed. How many died in the Boston Massacre? And we still call it a massacre?

I can agree with that... but, they do have heads of governance.

The Gaza strip is run by a Hamas government... much like the Democrat terrorist who run the USA.

I wish the Mossad would take out the billionaire hamas leaders in Qatar.

Why don't they do this, instead of carpet bombing Gaza?

Are you saying Israel is making a tactical mistake by carpet bombing Gaza and doing nothing towards the HAMAS warlords who are elsewhere entirely?

How did you arrive at that assumption?

Because the terrorist kings in Qatar or Damascus are still alive.

Meanwhile, the cities of Gaza are being pulverized by carpet bombing.

Goal post is still in the same place. The city was the target. Not just the terrorists.

Massacre is too gentle a term.

I wonder what that has anything to do with the total war waged against the Palestinians in Gaza. Hamas is not just being targeted.

So you mean, since Israel helped pay for the buildings, they get to smash them like it's their lego creations and they can do whatever they want?

Keeping on topic, from the title 'massacre of civilians' via US arms. Let's get back on track for a moment and really get a good look at the destruction however it was achieved by Israel.

According to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, Israel has dropped more than 25,000 tonnes of explosives on the Gaza Strip since October 7, equivalent to two nuclear bombs.

In comparison, the Little Boy nuclear bomb dropped by the United States on Hiroshima during World War II yielded 15,000 tonnes of high explosives and destroyed everything within a one-mile (1.6km) radius.

Don't gloss over this article as it shows destruction and carpet bombing pic.

Destruction as far as the eye can see video in article.

www.aljazeera.com...

Excuse me, obviously me thinking this is an atrocity has no bearing at all in this subject matter.
