I think everyone would support a cease fire if both sides actually honored the agreement.

But since Hamas and militant Palestinians treat cease fires as an opportunity to plan more attacks like barbaric cowards, I'd say Israel is not in the mood to entertain those whims.

There should be a ceasefire and both sides need this time to find a way to live together. I know it's hard but it can happen as they're the only ones that can solve the problem. The continuation of hostilities leads nowhere. The only definite result are the deaths of many innocent civilians.

There was a ceasefire until Hamas kidnapped/raped/slaughtered* civilians and then desecrated the corpses.

Hamas continued the hostilities. And now, I hope Israel can squash the vermin and minimize the loss of life of innocent residents of the Gaza strip.

But this is war, and in war innocent people get hurt.

I will not watch or read anything from a tabloid that is right leaning and has to make their reports elicit shock or heightened emotions.

That falls under the category of selective cherry picking sources for sensationalism.

The marches won't stop because the pro-Palestinian protesters are probably traumatized because of family and friends they are worried about over there and ceasefire/anti-war supporters who are horrified at the heartless killings of civilians over there.
