This doesn't imply Israel has the right to kill thousands of innocent civilians, mostly women and children, when at the same time it has very limited effect in the number of Hamas militants killed. The vast majority of people who have died are civilians.

When the terrorist hamas with palestine went against Israel indiscriminately to kill as many civilians as the can, even Americans in Israel we most go blind and see no evil hear no evil.

You're not right in your last statement. Israel unfortunately has committed war crimes answering the war crimes committed by Hamas.

Nope, hamas terrorist influences have been felt for decades whenever they feel they need to kill civilians in their jihad.

As Israeli forces continue to intensify their cataclysmic assault on the occupied Gaza Strip, Amnesty International has documented unlawful Israeli attacks, including indiscriminate attacks, which caused mass civilian casualties and must be investigated as war crimes

As Israel should to defend themselves and their people, hamas are terrorist and as terrorist they should be wiped out of the face of earth, they have no room among humans.

If you do not like to burn, do not play with fire and then come crying like a baby, that is what hamas is doing.

People are quick to condemn Israel, but the same people go silent when asked what Israel should have done?

The same is true for Hamas or any other terrorist organisation. They have no right to kill and that's why they have been condemned by everyone.

The mass killings in Israel by Hamas on the 7th of October cannot justify the mass killings of Palestinians by Israel through the continuous bombing campaign. War crimes cannot be answered with war crimes answering your statement here

Out of the thousands killed by Israel the vast majority are women and children and as it seems very few from Hamas.

Israel has the right to defend itself. Not the right to kill women and children in their thousands.

When the state conducts evictions, compensation and reasonable time helps in the relocation process. This plan to lock them all up and wipe them all out has trouble all over it.

Iraq was quite different. I opposed it.

Large numbers protesting, led by Israel hating lefties like Jeremy Corbyn and Dianne Abbott.

Folk didn't vote Corbyn in when he ran in our GE.

His rabid anti semitism got him kicked out of the Labour party

You know nothing about the UK, just showing your cognitive bias, again.

I don't have to know much about the UK to see that many people oppose the war in Gaza

Tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters in London urge ceasefire, slam Israel.

Britain's foreign secretary says no indication Hamas wants truce; similar Gaza-support rallies held in Germany, Indonesia, Pakistan, France, Italy, Norway and Switzerland

Half a million pro-Palestine supporters poured through the streets of London on Saturday. It was a sea of people, streaming out of the Tube exits, chanting for Palestine as they moved through the stations, determined to show their solidarity.

Today's papers and news.

Arguing for ceasefire isn't some sort of bias.

Do you really think that the large numbers protesting in London or wherever in the country are some sort of antisemites? Because if they are you seem to have quite a lot there.

Or you think that those who argue for ceasefire are Hamas and terrorism supporters or even Nazi sympathisers, as it was claimed in the various threads.

No. According to the dead bodies and families who have died so far. Hamas is hiding well. Yes, some of them may have been killed but the vast majority are women and children. This is widely acceptable.

Speaking of trust. How can you trust anyone even the IDF when they say there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza. It goes both ways if you haven't realised it...

At least you do realise the war crimes by Hamas have been answered by Israel with further war crimes.

Oh sh*t. That is an oversight. Forgot something with that quote..

'War crimes' by Israel were made inevitable by how Hamas fights. Let's just always overlook that though.

Okay, that fixes it.

You are derailing your own thread. It's about that Californian city "vote".

Plenty of other threads you can cut and past in.

No.

So you say these people (and there many as it seems) are not Hamas or terrorism supporters as it was claimed in the threads. Nor they're Nazi sympathisers.

So they're sane people who don't want the war in Gaza to continue and the innocent civilians to be killed. Precisely what I have said and many others here in these threads.

Still not answering the question

What should have been Israel’s response?

Too late!

It doesn't matter how you phrase it because these are war crimes.

Damning evidence of war crimes as Israeli attacks wipe out entire families in Gaza

As Israeli forces continue to intensify their cataclysmic assault on the occupied Gaza Strip, Amnesty International has documented unlawful Israeli attacks, including indiscriminate attacks, which caused mass civilian casualties and must be investigated as war crimes

There are many other links that I have used about the same matter.

Richmond City Resolution and the people in London and everywhere else are like minded when it comes to war and so many civilians who have died.

As has been pointed out to you, that was a vote by a few leftie Council members.

Not the people.

A very serious development.
I hope more and more cities do exactly the same and condemn all war crimes and mass killings of civilians from wherever they may come.

Richmond City near Berkeley and San Fran, who the F cares. Also if Israel is doing ethnic cleansing they need to step it up as they are looking at 50 years of work at their pace right now. Also adding things like ethnic cleansing to an opinion actually distracts from anything else that might be reasonable.

What war crimes has Israel committed, not saying there hasn’t been one but give me specific examples.

Keep in mind… The classification of a military act during conflict as a war crime depends on whether the act was justified. So the bombing of a school or residential building may not be considered a war crime if it was deemed militarily necessary. It is a war crime to use civilians as human shields which Hamas has and continues to do in spades. Here’s a novel idea…. Don’t put your military command post in hospital basements, build military tunnels around or underneath civilian dwellings or harbor militants in civilian dwellings, they will be taken out, legally.
