I just heard it called a 3 way power share; McHenry=acting Speaker, Jordon=Majority Leader, Democrats=deciding votes to get anything passed.

I am cautiously optimistic. But seriously, I would like to see Jordon step aside from Speaker bid.

Maybe McHenry will wow the crowd.

It's now sounding like the vote to empower McHenry doesn't have enough support and Jordan is going to plow ahead with a third round.

It sounds like they have no idea what's going on. Jordan admitted in conference that he knows he's going to lose votes in the next round.

David Joyce, the Rep. that wrote the resolution to empower McHenry, originally said he was going to revise it based on discussions had in conference and that he wasn't sure if it was going to make it to a floor vote. Now he's saying that he's not going to revise it.

The holdouts are refusing to talk with Jordan pur take his calls. Some are reporting about having to get security for their families after receiving credible death threats from Jordan supporters.

In other words, just another day in the clown universe that is the House GOP.

Donald Trump says he's available, if Republicans want to make things better.

If not now, The country will just have to wait till 2025... If we are still here.

Joe Biden will say something derogatory tonight that unifies House Republicans.

Sounds like every holdout that actually met with Jordan told him they will not vote for him.

Yea this is SO MUCH better than putting up with mcarthy.

Power sharing with the radical left democrat leadership.

yea we really improved things, yea mcarthy was a rhino but he was better than power sharing with the democrats.

Gaetz will get elected in a landslide but we as a nation will suffer for the republicans epic failure.

He would have won if people had written Jordan and not Jorden.

Jordan is out altogether now. After he lost the third round of voting this morning with even fewer votes the GOP went into conference. They held a secret vote and over 180 people voted against Jordan remaining the Speaker designate.

The GOP have left for the weekend with no Speaker candidate.

McCarthy is endorsing Emmer as the new Speaker designate. I'll be surprised if he gets the votes he needs. Steve Bannon just referred to him as the most Never Trumper in Leadership. My guess is the strong supporters of Jordan will refuse to vote for him.
