We don't know yet, but judging by the damage to buildings from air strikes we have seen so far, this does not seem comparable.

500 dead?

Pinch of salt needed.

I find his blind faith in terrorists equally disturbing. It's like a religious level of belief. Whatever they say is gospel. He lets terrorists control what he thinks.

Absolutely crazy to me, but to each their own.

I haven't seen any videos of the damage to the hospital. There's no way of knowing what happened. Did a rocket hit an ammo dump or a fuel tank? Did it start a fire and people were somehow trapped inside? Are there really 500 dead or is it being inflated?

Too many questions still.

Wow
Hamas fires a missile that hits a hospital then blames it on israel?
Like it cant be traced?

They're saying it was actually Palestinian Islamic Jihad rather than Hamas. There are multiple terrorist organizations in Gaza.

Fox News' Trey Yingst just reported that when he was in Gaza a few years ago, PIJ tried to launch a rocket at Israel and it misfired and fell very near to his position in Gaza.

PIJ immediately put out a statement saying Israel had bombed the spot where their rocket landed.

So they are known to blame Israel for their rockets falling in Gaza.

The order issued by Israel stated that Israelis "...must leave immediately" (emphasis mine),

Not "should" leave. Not even "are strongly advised". MUST

Could Israel be planning to launch an attack against Iran, directly?

Could the US airbase at Incirlik, in Turkey, be playing a role in that planned operation? It makes sense, logistically, for Israel.

Might explain the apparent urgency expressed in the Israeli order to its citizens residing in Turkey: "Get out Now, the Plotz is about to hit the fan!"

ETA:

Might also explain why President Biden feels it necessary to make a personal visit to the ME Right Now.

"But, as I said, if Israel still decides it must enter Gaza to capture and kill Hamas's leadership, it must only do so if it has in place a legitimate Palestinian leadership to replace Hamas, so Israel is not left governing there forever. If that happens, every day that the sun doesn't shine in Gaza, water doesn't flow, electricity doesn't operate, and hunger or disease becomes widespread will be the fault of every Israeli and even every Jew in the world. Is Israel ready for that burden?

My bottom line? Just ask this question: If Israel announced that it was foregoing, for now, a full-blown invasion of Gaza, who would be happy, who would be relieved, and who would be upset? Iran would be totally frustrated, Hezbollah would be disappointed, Hamas would feel devastated --- its whole war plan come to naught --- and Valdimir Putin would be crushed, because Israel would not be burning up ammunition and weapons the U.S. needs to be sending to Ukraine. The settlers in the West Bank would be enraged.

Meanwhile, the parents of every Israeli soldier and every Israeli held hostage would be relieved, and every Palestinian in Gaza would be relieved, and every friend and ally --- starting with one Joseph R. Biden --- would be relieved. I rest my case."

Did they put out the statement about their citizens leaving Turkey before or after the hospital incident?

Honest question. If after, they may have just realized that was gonna cause a boil over in Muslim countries and want their people out of harm's way.

Has it yet to be confirmed that Iran has a Nuke or is it still in the we don't know for sure stage ,

That's the only way Iran will be a threat Israel could wipe Iran off the map conventionally without the help of the US .

The official line is that they're still months away at the soonest.

They have enough highly-enriched uranium to build a bomb, but it's not quite bomb grade. But from what I've heard they can spin it up to bomb grade in a few weeks.

Once you have enough uranium for a bomb though, you still have to build it, test it, and weaponize it.

Iran doesn't have the ability to fly a plane over Israel and drop a nuclear bomb like the US did to Japan in WW2. So they would have to miniaturize their bomb design to the point where it'll fit on one of their ballistic missiles.

All that takes time.

ETA: Although there are land routes to Israel from Iran, so could you stash a bomb in a truck and try to get it in that way? I have no idea.

That said, all of that depends on our intelligence about how far away they are being accurate. When's the last time our intelligence got something right?

So IF this does turn out to be a misfired hamas/islamic jihad rocket-Its already been spread through the MSM as an Israeli airstrike-which is leading to mass protests and attempts to storm embassies in some countries.

We know many middle east news channels are anti israeli to the core-but even our own (mainly left leaning)western MSM ran with this being an israeli strike without waiting for verification.

No response from Iran yet-or did I miss that?

I am not sure if the bombing of the (latest?) bombing of the hospital and the order to leave Turkey are related, or just coincidental.

Things seems to be moving way too fast to be certain of anything at the moment.

Yeah the damage is done. Even if it's confirmed that it was a PIJ rocket, the people going ballistic over it already are never going to believe it wasn't Israel. They care about the narrative, not the facts.

Yeh, it's not through is it.

I don't support Hamas but hitting hospitals and killing people in those kinds of numbers cant amount to justice.

There is no condoning what Hamas have perpetrated but surely this sort of atrocity cannot be the answer.

There is no agreement that Israel did this, and these terrorist organizations are known to literally blow up their own people for a sound bite like they’re running around spewing right now.
We probably have the technology out there to deduce how the hospital blew up. If it’s shown to be not connected to Israeli actions, a bunch of damned liars will just scream “nuh uh !”.
So why should I care ? If Israel did it they’ll probably admit to it. If one of the terrorist groups did it, they’ll kill anybody trying to investigate it.
So I’m pretty sure I don’t care for now.

Knowing these terrorist morons, a rocket probably did hit an ammo dump, which was right in the middle of the hospital compound.

a nuclear detonation may not be possible for them yet but surely they have enough radio active material to make a hell of a mess with dirty munitions

Ya, probably the same one that Hamas herded 500 people into, and locked them in.

Just had a horrible realization!

Iran doesn't need to build a bomb to "nuke" Israel....

They just need to supply Hezbollah (and/or Hamas) with the radioactive material that can be placed in the warheads of existing qassam rockets to turn them into "Dirty Bombs".

Hezbollah is thought to have over 100,00 rockets stockpiled in the West Bank.

The warheads wouldn't need any real modification, just the addition of the radioactive debris.
