Not sure why you're trying to argue that tax fraud wasn't committed when the company has already been found liable of comitting tax fraud in another case.

Don't worry though, AG James has a lot more to go through. McConney is just the second witness on a list of over 100. Next up is Weisselberg on Tuesday. It's worth noting that Weisselberg agreed to cooperate with authorities in exchange for leniency in the tax fraud case.

How many times has trump been audited before this by the IRS…..

Not arguing anything. I am pointing out that this is BS. The 'tax fraud' you speak of came from reimbursements. He was the CFO. He was responsible and did his time.

What earth shattering testimony do you think either of them are going to provide?

You mean like McConney testifying to overvaluing the Westchester property by over $100 million for years on order of Eric Trump?

Then why is this current case civil, not criminal?

How do you get away with that if a simple tax assessment and pulling the records would have relieved what was on the property. Seems like something is not being fully disclosed to make a BS argument.

It’s like inventory at work. It’s not considered against the books until something is actually installed and used.

Then charge McConney with conspiracy to commit fraud and indict Eric. Do it. Make it criminal. You know why they won't. Ask the one who pulled a Bauer on Trump and wrote a book about it. No real evidence that would stand up in criminal court.

and now the LLC breakup is halted.

Link

A New York judge’s order dissolving some companies owned by Donald Trump was temporarily halted when an appeals court allowed the former president to challenge the ruling as his civil fraud trial continues in Manhattan. The decision Friday by an intermediate appeals court is a preliminary win for Trump as he fights allegations by the New York attorney general that he inflated his assets by billions of dollars a year to dupe banks and insurers.

But Peter Moulton, a judge in the Appellate Division of New York State Supreme Court, rejected Trump’s request to immediately halt the trial, which is entering its second week. Moulton agreed to temporarily suspend dissolution of the business certificates of the Trump limited liability companies, which the trial judge ordered last week. Chris Kise, a lawyer for Trump, argued the dissolution could harm as many as 1,000 employees who work for the LLCs.

It is slowly sinking....

Not a super big win. This is exactly what the AG requested in their response to Trump's motion.

From Donald Trump's attorney...

“We are very pleased the First Department upheld New York law and put a halt to any cancellation of business certificates, receivers or dissolution,” Kise said following Friday’s ruling. “The trial court’s attempt to reach issues, entities and assets beyond the scope of this case has been suspended.”

Small gains for Trump in several areas this week. The Mar-A-Lago documents trial has been delayed, probably until after November 2024.

BIDEN continues to sink. His panicked handlers, and fellow/lady crooks, reaching out to threaten Trump supporters.

Is there a paper trail for that allegation or is it hearsay?

the whole thing is based off of what a known liar stated. So the premise could be wrong at the start.

We are beginning to discuss a particularly egregious example of fraudulent valuations. At one point, Trump’s Seven Springs estate reflected a plan to build seven mansions on the property valued at $23 million each.

McConney confirmed that in 2012, he understood Eric Trump was involved with the development of the Westchester, New York, property and that he assumed, but was never told, that all necessary approvals had been obtained to build the seven homes. But he said he also understood the concept of the time value of money and that discounts should be applied to arrive at a present value if money is going to be paid in the future.

The $161 million for the seven planned homes, which was baked into the Seven Springs valuation, was never discounted for the years it would take to build them, the cost of marketing and building them, etc.

Instead, McConney treated the profit of $23 million per home as if it were immediately realizable in 2012.

In 2013 and 2014, the valuation for the seven homes was done exactly the same way. He also wrote in his spreadsheets that the valuations were based on telephone calls in each of 2013 and 2014 with Eric Trump, who confirmed he should continue to value the planned homes at Seven Springs in the same way.

I don't recall ever declaring over $100 million of non-existent assets in my financial statements to banks.

I don't recall the banks taking my word for anything when I got my last mortgage. Does your bank allow you to dictate your worth?

And most importantly, did Trump default on any of these loans? Because that would be fraud, but paying everything back would make the point non existent. Again, this is business, and once you go after Trump, then Trump's DOJ will have a #ing field day going after any and everyone who he deems as a threat, using the exact same witch hunt.

But idiot dems rarely think past this one moment in time. They don't have enough vision to fit on the tip of a pin.

WHy is LYING wrong?
Really?
Because you are LYING. WHen you lie to someone and they believe your lie, that is wrong. The fact that someone believes your lie doesn't make it "Their fault."
The fact that people ARE doing their do diligence is why this case was brought.

OK, can you articulate what I lied about so that I can be better equipped to respond to you, or is this an OMB situation?

Why would lenders only take stock in the Trumps estimates? You can be wrong and not lie by the way. And not use a third party credit check/valuation. When one can run the records to see what is actually on a property.

So. You go to the car dealer and they ask you if you had good credit. Do they go off that? Or run an actual credit check? So why would a lender to Trump be any different. Why wouldn’t they verify property, what’s on it, if it’s actual owned by Trump, and check for leans.

Added. Better question. Would you bank with a bank that didn’t run its own credit and ownership checks when using your money for lending…..

Former/Next President, Donald J. Trump says...

A Rigged Trial going on against me by a corrupt N.Y. State Attorney General and an out of control Judge.

They brought Values down to a FRACTION of what they are really worth, like Mar-a-Lago, and then called me a Fraud.

They are the FRAUDSTERS, and the whole system is CORRUPT.

I didn’t even include one of my most valuable assets, BRAND VALUE, in my Financial Statements.

Also, this Psycho Judge refuses to acknowledge the fact that I have a 100% Disclaimer Clause on the First Page of my Statements - “DUE YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE.”

But it all doesn’t matter, because regardless of what we say to show our TOTAL INNOCENCE, and it has been proven in many ways, and many times over, this political, Trump Hating Judge, together with his horrendous, seething with ANGER Law Clerk, with her illegal campaign contributions, will find me guilty as hell.

NO JURY ALLOWED, A STATUTE NEVER USED FOR THIS BEFORE, A RIGGED TRIAL, A RACIST & CORRUPT ATTORNEY GENERAL, A TRUMP HATING JUDGE, ELECTION INTERFERENCE!

Judge Endogroin and NY AG Lefifia are severely disconnected from reality, not realize that in 14 months (or so), their miserable lives, will take a severe turn for the worse.

Well, these judges and attorneys are paid for. If they don't proceed and rule accordingly, they're taken to places, I have to refrain from describing...this apparently is known in their circles.

I recall one of the more vocal moron posters here making the prediction that having a convicted liar as a prime witness would be rather folly.

Especially if the physical evidence apparently spoke for itself....

There used to be a "Black Eye" punishment for compromised officials who didn't toe-the-line. A large group of officials had a black left eye, for about 2 years.
