So you don't agree that countries from around the world should be trying to get along and solve global issues? Like say for example the refugee crisis? I see people on the board screaming about better border controls.

These are not issues that 1 country alone is going to solve.

I get that everyone wants their country to be taken care of first, but that is not going to solve global issues.

It's like telling half a dozen countries to fix carbon issues/climate crisis, but letting everyone else do what they want. You'll never solve the problem like that. It requires everyone working together towards a solution. The UN is definitely a waste of time. But a bunch of countries running around only worrying about themselves won't fix #.

NO ONE else is going to put Americas interests first. We always get screwed over by foreigners. So if the foreigners hate on someone who is in the White House, then that person must be doing something right for AMERICANS.

Wrong, I have yet to meet ONE PERSON that appreciates MAGA that is a 'white supremacist'. It is certainly not 'many'.

The election had many many problems. The one that makes me question the integrity is that millions of mail-in ballots had absolutely no signature validation done at all. Does not make me feel like the election was secure or 'fair'.

Seems like the left is ignoring the science of biology. Men cant be made into women. Not possible

Biden is so weak the LEADERS of the world are laughing because he can't even get a coherent sentence out and needs to be led by the arm to guide him around.

As much as I won't be voting for Trudeau again, he is far from an authoritarian. People have always had the right to choose. Even the truck drivers. They just couldn't accept the consequences. You ALWAYS have the freedom to choose. That does not give you freedom from consequence.

Well, fix it then. Seems no one gives a crap but the US where they all end up on their big trip. Do you want the US to go back to regime changes again, hasn't worked ever, so how do you fix it? How about sending 100 million to Canada, you all seem to be low on population in such a big place.

Let me try phrasing it a different way. Would you agree that most white supremists would support Trump over Biden? I think that's a fair statement. White supremacy is ethically and morally wrong. Why would you vote for someone that is supported by people like this? So no, I will retract the "many" statement, but reality is a lot of people that support Trump are not good people. I'm sure a lot are, but some are not.

All elections have many problems. In every country I'm sure. The big question remains, if there were so many issues it impacted the actual outcome, how come no evidence exists? Not a single court case had actual viable evidence presented. At least if some piece of evidence was presented and had been proven I could see this.

Again, you're mixing up gender and sex. Check a dictionary for what these words mean. Sex represents your physical characteristics. Gender does not. I will also support transgender rights. I've worked with a few people in the past who transitions, and a coupe of our daughter's friends are trans folks. No harm, no foul. You do you. Where I do put my foot down is for example, transgender men competing in women's sports. That should never be allowed. That should be based on sex not gender. Full stop.

I do not know a single person who protested peacefully who got their bank accounts frozen. I live in a pretty conservative province and know a few people who went downtown every other weekend, took part in a protest, and nothing was done to those folks. The folks that are going to jail are going to jail because they did not protest peacefully, they were disruptive to Ottawa. Or they took part in an armed blockade of a major highway. Anytime a blockade involves guns in Canada, you're going to jail. It's the same as your January 6th. If the folks had peacefully protested, instead of vandalizing the capitol building, hardly anyone would have gone to jail.

You need to look at your definition of protest. If it's done peacefully, without threat of harm to others, you will never see the inside of a jail cell here.

Countries working together to find a common solution for everyone that works is the way to tackle this. To me we have not effectively done this. One would hope that they would tackle these issues at the UN, but that seems to have turned into a stage for leaders who really have no interest in solving problems.

Honestly I couldn't say, I don't know enough about the black panthers. I would have to literally just start Googling, so I'd rather not form an uninformed opinion.

I guess it depends on how fringe those supporters are. Personally I don't like extremists on either side.....right or left. Countries need to be led by moderates who can combine ideas from both sides. Unfortunately, both in the US and Canada, I'm starting to see sides becoming a lot more extreme.

Nope would never claim to be an expert. I made no bones about the fact that part of the reason I signed up here was to learn why people believe what they do. I can also tell you that most people I know from the US are from blue areas, and so probably not as evenly balanced as you would think. Chicago, Seattle, California, etc. Not real deep red places for sure. Just as an example when Obamacare officially was passed I was in Seattle at the time in a restaurant/pub and people there actually broke down emotionally that this was finally passed. So without a doubt, my knowledge about the US has primarily been routed in blue areas. Again though that's one of the reasons I want to better understand why righties believe and think they way they do. Call it enlightenment.

During the big KKK rally a few years back, less than 100 from around the country came together as to what one might suggest was the White Supremacists of old. That gives you kind of a view as to how insignificant the issue is today. Of the 2+ million minority gang members who do you think they would vote for?

I think today we need to define "White Supremacists" in 2023 and it seems the majority are now woke liberals, so the model has shifted from the southern White person image to now it is more like a Karen. You do know the Democrats were the KKK back in the day and even Biden's two biggest events in his career were to prevent school busing for segregation, and his famous bill that filled our jails with minorities, that Trump removed. Biden back in the day said he didn't want his kids attending school in a jungle, that is who our President is today. The liberals worked hard to swap their racest ways over to the right in one of the biggest gaslighting events in the last 50 years.

Trump was loved by the left for 50+ years, well until he ran as a conservative, then they called him a racist.

So Biden had 50 years of outward racism, but now he is all good, and Trump had 50 years of being loved by the minority leadership, but now he is a racist...lol
