This is an international forum, if you mean this serious I hope you never commented on any thread on any other country. While I understand your point about it being your country, people still can voice their opinions because of free speech.

Talking about speech, many foreigners here speak your language, while you probably, like most Americans, do not speak any second or even third language. What this actually means that these foreign people commenting might have a wider understanding about many things than you have. Because they have the perspective from at least to countries and their cultures.

This thread really is none of their business and they don't listen so just ignore them.

Too bad you can't enforce anyone to listen to you. And any thread in any forum is any ones business. What you do here is gatekeeping because you can't allow to have other's opinions voiced.

What you actually imply about your fellow countrymen and women is that they lack the self awareness and mental fitness to decide on their own, who and what they listen to and think.

Seems the public schools do the same thing the Catholic church did ... just transfer the sexual assaulter and pretend it didn't happen. Passing the trash. The abusers then molest more and more, never being brought to justice. The Catholic Church got smart and has put plans and procedures in place to stop the abuse. No such thing in public schools.

this has the quality of being as familar as the rc scandal, that was obvious in the way some trans ativists get witness like protections from scrutiny.. only I do think this will be much bigger as it highlights the depth of corruption in our society

My thought exactly. The public schools are a mess and they are shuffling the sex perps around just like the Catholic church did. But like I said, the parish members in the Catholic churches got together and put together policy and procedures to help safeguard the children. The shuffling got stopped but not before a lot of damage was done.

Here’s one sentence from the article (first paragraph):

“. . children with transgender inclinations are being encouraged to undertake potentially irreversible surgical and hormonal interventions with unknown long-term consequences.”

Children are not encouraged to have gender surgery.

Sure, there’s always a wako unethical doctor, but that’s not the norm.

There are now childrens hospitals with gender care units. People are advocating for earlier surgery, pre puberty surgery, so that children won't 'go through the wrong puberty'. You see them on the tv news spouting this stuff. While the surgery aspect is more rare, the hormonal interventions are common. I already posted the information on that. And the puberty blockers do have lots of consequences. I also posted that information.

we have gone past the no debate point and pivoting to put blocks in place to restore the safeguards but as you say the damage had already been done we'll only find out in hindsight.

this is the chilling effect of the satanic panic where the welfare state merged with police and teachers to find ritual abuse where ever they looked, now they find trans.. I suspect a new version of false memory syndrome will be created to mask the damage wrought in schools.

as no one will ever be held accountable but the parents will have to live with the damage wrought..

Transgender is a very small percentage to begin with.

But now we have a vast number of mutilated children?
