Why is TGP making an issue of a case that involved a rather large amount of election fraud that had no criminal case brought, was handed to the FBI where no investigation was done let alone a criminal case brought and was bankrolled by a company doing this all over the state?

Yea Byrd....i dunno.

Well, if you stopped to think about it, you'd realize that there's no logical reason for the FBI to be involved.

The fraud was not a very clever one. It was "individual level dumb."

If you wanted to perpetrate a large-scale fraud, you wouldn't send out boatloads of temps to run around and collect voter registration forms. You'd use the polls (which are online - here's how you can obtain lists of Georgia voters for yourself and property records like these for Georgia) and do it in-house for unregistered voters.

This information is freely available for all states.

(I don't expect you'd know this, but I know it from having worked as a volunteer for a campaign and as an election judge)

Any company doing this for vote canvassing would know all that. An individual who never voted, who worked as a temp worker would have no idea about all of this. They'd just see a list and a request to go register the people on the list.

It involves a lot of walking and door knocking.

The crime was investigated AND the headquarters raided and investigated. The criminal act was not an organized effort but employees trying to game the system. It was caught and stopped.

The FBI gets involved only if there's evidence of a conspiracy. The FBI and local law enforcement investigated and did not find a conspiracy.

Subsequent investigation of the polls by election officials (of both parties) did not find a sudden dump of thousands of records.

So, yes, based on experience I do believe them.

LOL, I'd have questions about the silencers, but maybe y'all use them on the regular when voting in Texas.

a) this wasn't a polling place; it was a business office
b) I have no knowledge about gun laws for that area or what's permitted.

I figure the cops know this kind of law best, and if it was illegal and the guns weren't permitted that somebody would have ended up in jail and the guns and other items would have been confiscated.

I'm not really worried about the guns.

But why isn't the other side worried about those guns?

Look, I don't like guns and think there needs to be better regulation. HOWEVER... I'm aware that there are laws in that area that pertain to guns. I let the law enforcement deal with that.

This is America. I will work with the community, the state, and the nation to form policies and laws that support my opinions and beliefs. Sometimes my opinions and beliefs aren't what's voted on and I have learned to live with that. But I don't go around having collie-shangles over every single gun that crops up.

I let the cops and courts handle it.

None of that addresses that the FBI did in fact get handed the investigation. There are zero charges for the individual caught nor the company doing the same thing all over this state.

No amount of your personal justification changes those facts.

Update Thursday 8.17.2023

Former President Donald Trump's press conference scheduled for Monday regarding Georgia's 2020 election results is cancelled.

Trump posted on his Truth Social Thursday that the press conference was canceled because his lawyers would prefer putting his allegations "in formal Legal Filings."

More at: abcnews.go.com...

Sucks! Lawyers knew this rebuttal report was being prepared for the public.

Could Donald Trump still be taking the advice of those who want to see him fail and have the connections to make that happen?

Trump has committed to providing proof of 2020 election fraud! Big news! Will this be the final nail in the conspiracy revolving around the possible illegitimate election of President Joe Biden?

The criminal case against former U.S. President Donald Trump for attempting to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia will be handled by the newest judge on the court, a former prosecutor who once worked in the same office as Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Fulton County Superior Court records show Judge Scott McAfee will oversee the case against Trump, which alleges the Republican was part of a scheme to overturn his loss in the state to Democrat Joe Biden. Judges are randomly assigned to cases.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing and accused Willis, an elected Democrat, of being politically motivated.

Trump said on Tuesday that he would release a detailed report next Monday on what he called “election fraud” in the state of Georgia in 2020.

I personally look forward to a very full and complete release of information on Monday that once and for all tells us whether the 2020 election was fraudulent or not. Furthermore, this should once and for all speak to the integrity of the 2024 election.

That's because there wasn't a conspiracy.

The company didn't generate the fake forms - they turned them in, assuming that the worker had been honest. The worker wasn't doing it to influence the election but to get a paycheck.

That's handled by the state, not the Feds.

Not surprised.

I'll be honest - I don't think it exists nor do I think the lawyers are putting it "in formal legal filings." And I think his lawyers might have made him cancel it because the judge was going to hammer them over these stunts. It could be seen as attempting to influence the case or the jury pool, which would go very badly against Mr. Trump.

I stand corrected - there was no arrest. I thought I read that the woman in the case had been arrested but this appears to be untrue. However, the company itself WAS investigated. Newsweek summary

Trump and McCarthy may be working to help Democrats, just like Joe Biden is working to help China.

McCarthy won't even schedule an Impeachment Inquiry of A.G. Garland.

Trump changed his mind about demonstrating how Democrats cheated in Georgia for candidate Biden in Nov2020. Letting down millions of us who thought he was going to "fight back" finally.

OMG...We're in trouble! 😨

Your source mentions my point:

The case was referred to the FBI on grounds of "national jurisdiction" and the decision was made to close the state-level investigation after the FBI assume the case.

I understand that this isn't a big deal to you, thats fine.

Cancelled. At some point, the man is gonna have to listen to an attorney who truly has his best interest at heart, not an open wallet. Looks like he humbled his ego somewhat. Overwhelming evidence and testimony says he's busted. For a lot of crimes. His arrogance and ignorance are staring him down. He won't pursue any more "evidence" that has exhausted. He wasted a lot of Georgias money, and it's mounting still. So yeah, his " evidence" rally is cancelled. Always moving the goalpost, always

In your opinion, what is the best smoking gun evidence you could provide?
