It would seem Fanni may have a bit of a problem on her hands and could face her own legal problems due to a bill signed into law by Gov. Kemp just 3 months ago...

The newly enacted law (Senate Bill 92) establishes a statewide Prosecuting Attorneys Statewide Qualifications Commission vested with the power to investigate complaints against district attorneys and, if warranted, remove them from office.

In a suspicious event, the Fulton County court website posted several charges against Trump, including RICO charges, earlier on Monday, even before the grand jury’s proceedings had concluded. The information was quickly taken down.

A Fulton County clerk said the Trump indictment documents posted online were “fictitious.”

However, later they just confirmed the same charges.

Oopsie. Greg Price took to twitter and noted that the "fictitious" charges were identical to the official charges, making it appear as if Trump was indicted before he was indicted.

Suspicious premature posting of charges against President Donald Trump before the grand jury’s proceedings could potentially be viewed as misconduct or as actions bringing the office into disrepute.

Based on these provisions alone, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis must be removed!

President Trump’s lawyers said of the documents posted online, “This was not a simple administrative mistake.”

Per the new norm in our "democratic republic", I expect nothing will come of this and Wallis will instead be applauded by her peers while republicans become indignant, but yet again, do nothing about it.

The early post was put up by the Fulton County Court. That's the Judicial branch of government--an entirely separate branch of government from the Executive branch--which is who the DA works for. The DA had nothing to do with that leak.

theres cheese on the moon too right?

Technically no, because things like this are usually promptly removed when the clerk realizes they uploaded something they weren't supposed to. However, it's not super uncommon.

Are you a lawyer, or someone working in the courts?

A clerk?

The Fulton County Clerk's office put out a press release about an hour ago. Considering the potential size of indictment, the Clerk uploaded a test document to their Odyssey platform.

It was never actually published, but the media can access documents before they're made public. Someone from Reuters saw the document and assumed it was something official. However it didn't have a signed true bill or the Clerk's stamp on it.

"In anticipation of issues that arise with entering a potentially large indictment, Alexander used charges that pre-exist in Odyssey to test the system and conduct a trial run," the statement continues. "Unfortunately, the sample working document led to the docketing of what appeared to be an indictment, but which was, in fact, only a fictitious docket sheet."

So they are saying that they are ill equipped to handle electronic systems.

Interesting, imagine the corollary.........

Georgia court offers new explanation for 'fictitious' indictment posted before Trump charges

And that says something different from what you posted earlier. They just can't seem to get their story straight. I wonder why?

ETA: Correction. I re-read and found what I thought was missing.

You posted this link an hour and half ago.
No Liberal or anti-Trumper rebuttal whatsoever as to how Trump’s story is different now compared to Gore’s in 2000.

There is something wrong with these guys.
Chemical imbalance or ? Who the F knows what it is?
I’ve never seen any of them reply to a post that destroys their fantasy like theories with real facts.

It was explained to me that they had the indictment written beforehand because it was long. 98 pages. And that takes time.

So to expedite matters, they wrote up the indictment before the Grand Jury decided to save time.

Because it is the law, even though the Grand Jury was superfluous.

All grand juries in this country are superfluous. The DA has completely control over the outcome of a grand jury's deliberations. This DA knew exactly what the outcome would be when the thought to persecute Donald Trump was conceived. Everything since then has been process and timing.

Whats weird is how wrapped around the axle people on both sides of the issue are getting over a grand jury indictment as if it means anything more than what we already knew last week.
