I'm all on board with this special counsel being appointed. He asked when the time was right and the AG gave him the spot as he said he would, if asked.

I'm also on board with any tangent this investigation takes, anything it uncovers and that any and all involved are held to the highest standards of the law... be it the president, or the president's family or their friends or advisers, or whoever it points to.

No one is above the law in the US, and if the special counsel uncovers crime and can prove it, I for one am looking forward to speaking out against and rooting out corruption wherever it is in our government.

We are all equal, and the law applies to us all equally.

Up until we get to the top of our legal food chain and start seeing those standards fall apart. It's funny that destroying evidence made a crime turn into no "reasonable prosecutor" would bring charges. Or basing an entire investigation off the opposition candidates research, even though the source material was bogus. Or the obsfucating of government documents showing alarms were raised over the very issues that a special consuel was just appointed to investigate. Yea equal justice.

And speaking of Trump, shouldn't another indictment hit him? This usually happens after Hunter and Joey are in the news.

He removed the mattress tags from his beds in every house he has.
Those indictments are next in every state he has homes.

Bank records are evidence.

Biden's own admission on live TV is evidence.

Phone records are evidence.

Biden's supporters know he's corrupt. Don't take their playing dumb seriously. They're just toeing the line. They know he's been selling favors, they're just okay with it because he's a Democrat.

We all heard him

He always tells on himself. Which is what you would expect from someone who graduated in the bottom 10% of their class.

Two examples...

"See that guy over there? He's carrying the nuclear codes for me!"

"We have put together the best election fraud organization You will ever see."

Isn't everyone innocent until proven guilty?

Ask your Liberal friends that question about Trump.

Who is her partner? Just asking out of curiosity.

Ask your Liberal friends that question about Trump.

Polling shows a significant percentage of Democrats acknowledge the Trump prosecutions are politically-motivated, yet still want them to go forward.

They're all-in on their push toward an authoritarian, one-party state. They've long admired the Chinese Communist Party for the control they have. That's the model.

You guys are aware that we've known for a while when the Fulton County indictment is most likely going to hit, right?

Just want to make sure you guys aren't going to try and claim it's trying to distract from Weiss being appointed as special counsel. Which by the way, it sounds like that may be the most significant indictment yet. We're talking RICO charges with over a dozen defendants.

Clearly, this is to run interference in the Congressional inquiry. Pulling it closer to the DoJ to sleep until the limitations.

It's actually because the DOJ are dismissing the tax charges in Delaware and are instead going to charge them in another venue (most likely DC or CA.)

While Weiss technically had the authority already this move removes any ambiguity.

I see the talking points have been issued.
No one said they would jive with the facts.

This additional title simply enables Weis to avoid testifying to the GOP Congress next month.

A trial is therefore in order. And that trial cannot take place in this District because, as explained, venue does not lie here.

DOJ moves to drop Hunter Biden case in Delaware ahead of possible trial in different district
