He wasn't going to trial before. If Hunter wasn't going to plead out then the tax charges would've been filed in the proper venue.

In the end you / we are arguing about Charges that were nothing more than Distractions of Actual Massive Crimes that would put Hunter in Prison For Ever.

Gun Charge and a Tax Charge ....It's a Joke but they had to charge him with something so the Public would stop pressing the Hunter Biden issue. . " Okay there we sent him to trial and he was found guilty of some stuff now America will you please look the other way "

There's no indication that Garland told him he wouldn't be able to bring charges in any jurisdiction. Remember, it was Weiss that came to Garland asking to be named special counsel, not Garland telling him he would need to be special counsel to bring charges in another jurisdiction.

Weiss clearly thought the defense may attempt to challenge his authority, even though it was legitimate, and instead of allowing delays to occur he shut down that potential delaying tactic before the trial even started.

Yeah, after a 5 year investigation, a US attorney asked to be appointed Special Counsel to avoid a pre-trial hearing over the venue that would last a few weeks tops.

Do you think about these things at all? First of all, the CFR specifically lays out the grounds for appointing a Special Counsel. That isn't one of them. So if that was the reason, the AG would again be violating the law.

Do you support that?
edit on 11 8 23 by face23785 because: (no reason given)

Why would he bring a trial if the wrong venue was to be applied as a general rule?

Now you're just trying to tread water lol.

Yeah… seems to me there were two options here… be given a sweetheart deal for crimes committed plus any that he hasn’t been charged with yet… or have it tossed because of “improper venue”… which you’d think someone would have known about before hand… unless the fix was in… which at this point if you can’t see that’s the case… we’ll… terms and conditions keep me from replying how I’d like to… 🤣🤣🤣

Oh they wanted to shove this through.

Face said it well above.

Or it's, as I suggested, an attempt to defuse a potential defense tactic. If Garland didn't allow Weiss to bring charges in other jurisdictions before or wouldn't allow him to be special counsel before, why allow it now?

I just have to remind you that the same people who sold you this ridiculous explanation that Weiss needed to be appointed Special Counsel to avoid some routine pretrial legal wrangling that he's probably done 1000 times in his career--a situation for which the statute does NOT allow appointment of a Special Counsel by the way--

Well, a few weeks ago these same people were telling you that the proposed plea deal was totally above board, routine, that it wasn't special treatment or a sweetheart deal and that Republicans were making a big deal out of something lots of defendants have got before...

...and then it went to court and not only did the judge say it was unprecedented, but the prosecutor had to admit it was unprecedented and that they'd never done anything like it before.

Now those same Democrat pundits, the same Democrat legal "experts," the same Democrat media personalities, are telling you this is totally above board.

Do you really trust the people who lied to you about that? It's not like this was some obscure event in the distant past. This was just weeks ago they got caught deceiving you, and you actually believe them now? Are you #ing kidding me?

So are we in agreement now?

Garland is a boot-licking toady resentful for not getting the Supreme Court gig and he's covering for the Biden Klan.

I would bet that he does support and believe it.
But he is also just repeating what they tell him to say.

Here's a Perfect Example of how DYSFUNCTIONAL 95% of our U.S. Mainstream Media has become.

Until AG Garland gave in to District Attorney Weiss's request to be made a "Special Counsel" today, CNN's JAKE TAPPER thought the IRS professionals who turned "Whistleblowers" were LYING about the Bidens raking in millions of dollars illegally from around the world.

These are NOT Journalists: www.foxnews.com...

As badly as President Joe Biden treats media people, the media still proclaim how honest he is.

They're lost.

Tapper is one of the useful idiots. Most of the Democrat media know the lies they're pushing for the party are lies. Tapper actually believes them.

But Tapper is questioning Democrat "truths" more now than before. Maybe it's due to him seeing so many executives at CNN being fired for immoral acts, and on-air "expert" Democrats being disgraced....like Michael Avenatti, and Jeffrey "the masturbator" Toobin.

Special Counsel Weiss says Hunter Biden plea deal is ‘not in effect’ in new filing.

Biden’s legal team claims the deal is valid and binding.

BOTH can't be true.

That's why Hunter's lawyer removed himself from the case earlier today. He's planning on having to testify as a witness regarding the plea deal.

In a new filing, Weiss states they plan to return an indictment for the charges that are remaining in Delaware by the 29th.

Wow
They propose to indict hunter?
Shouldn’t a jury have a say in that?

This administration run department of justice is no more than tyranny.

Those supporting this will get EXACTLY what they deserve.

hell, he's a TRUMP appointee right? Totally got it in for the left. Well, except for that immunity deal for things past, present, and future. Other than that, he has been a solid choice.

I'm sure you have your part to play so the income stream doesn't dry up, but for #s sake, you aren't really this #ing stupid in real life right?

A jury will have a say in the indictment. Have we really done through all of these Trump indictments and you still haven't learned that indictments come from grand juries?
