And the judge responded. They will have a hearing on or before the 11th.

The parties shall meet and confer and file a joint notice of two dates and times on or before August 11, 2023 when both parties are available for a hearing"

ABC News

Both parties filed their responses today. The government is ready anytime on any day. Trump's team said Lauro could be there on Thursday, but Blanche is going to be in Florida for a document's case hearing. They made a comment about Friday being off the table but didn't provide a reason and didn't even address the possibility of a hearing tomorrow. Instead they went straight to suggesting Monday or Tuesday.

I'm guessing Chutkan won't be happy.

Well, excuse me for bringing morality into the conversation?

Well, hush my mouth?

I don't care that you do, I only ask why as we were discussing a factual base.

You'd think an attorney would understand the difference between appealing to emotion and actual criminal acts.

I'm never surprised with how barren the barrel is.

Maybe it's a UK thing regarding legal degrees.

IDK.

Its funny innit?

They like to claim that both of our parties are not left.

Grand Juries don't have defense do they?

Smith left out the part where he clearly said PEACEFULLY make your voices known. Wonder why? Isn't that a fraud on the court?

And what is this hocus pocus he is pulling getting a grand jury in DC instead of Florida in the documents case?

I hear he is a loose cannon that screws up cases pulling fast ones. Looks like he's going for the same strategy.

2 reasons why it doesn't matter even a little bit when Trump declared he was running and when the investigation started:

The multiple investigations started 7 years ago, this is just a different chapter in the 'Take Trump Out' romance novel.
These have been planned and coordinated, and dare I say conspired to all come togther now.

He is by far the front runner for the Republican party, and thus is the choice for 10s of millions of Americans. These Americans get to have a voice. If the election were held today, he'd beat Biden, unless they cheat.

USSC needs to step in.

No straw mans. Just my humble opinion about things.

But then, I'm not a lawyer. And of the lawyers I've actually met and dealt with, I'm not a fan.

None of the charges have to do with the riot. That said, were you a part of the grand jury? Do you know what evidence was presented?

Prosecutors are allowed to have multiple grand juries for the same case of multiple jurisdictions are involved.

What are your thoughts on the fact that Cannon made an unprovoked filing on the proceedings of a grand jury, something that is supposed to be secret, that's not even in her district, seemingly based entirely off of an interview Parlatore gave the night before.

Certainly seems like Cannon tipped her hand while gaining Trump nothing and at the same time giving the DOJ more and more reasons to have her removed from the case.

Yes there is quite the pitbull tearing at The Donalds flesh.

I don't like the man, but I cant f*king wait to vote for him a second time. Yes, I was one of those new 10 million votes. And no, I didn't vote for Hillary.

I might not even have to hold my nose, if y'all keep it up.

I might put a Trump sign in my yard or three.

Where are those charges please?

They're summarized in the article. If you like (I don't have time to list all 4,000 of them) you can go to court dockets and news sources and confirm them.

This, by the way, is old news. I'm surprised you haven't seen it before. It was commonly known when Trump announced his run (it was known before then) and related to his having trouble borrowing money here in the states and having to go to Deutschbank.

The only time he was immune to lawsuits was while he was President.

Pardon me and my silly memory but wasnt he impeached....twice?

What was the result of those?

Impeachments are legal procedures that are different than lawsuits. www.senate.gov..." target="_blank" class="postlink">The US government's website on impeachments (However, I will concede that I should have said "he was immune to lawsuits brought by individual citizens of the United States)

How many buildings does Trump own? While Trump himself currently owns six private residences, the Trump Organization owns a staggering 500 businesses and properties around the world, many of which are his prized golf clubs.

How much is Donald Trump Worth As of 2022, it is estimated that Donald Trump is worth approximately $3.2 billion, making him one of the richest men to have ever been President of the United States.

Yea, a real loser at business.

You might want to check his past tax returns. They show that he constantly loses a lot of money on his businesses and investments. You could compare to Warren Buffett's tax returns.

If you want a genuinely successful businessman to run the country (I think this is a bad idea) then you should look to Warren Buffett.

You'd prefer a non-businessman who hasn't worked a real job in his life? Someone that ONLY knows how to suck the teet of tax payers to pay bills and fund his drug addicted son?

What business has Biden rum, or even worked for?

Looks like 'sanctions' are good business. Keeping people OFF them, that is.

I remember hearing about sanctions, and me being a naive little thing, thought they meant COUNTRIES but here it seems like its all on an individual basis!

How tidy is that? PROTECTION MONEY

What a country!

I still haven't seen a single meeting with Trump, where someone had to pay before meeting him.

I hear he met people for free! Imagine that.
