Intimidate witnesses or tell the truth to many? How can you people not see how your rights are being eroded further than we ever believed.

No one could believe Boston after the bombings. Martial Law
No one could believe COVID and the lockdowns. Short memories for a lot but it was intense.
No one could believe a sitting president and his party, THE PARTY, would go after the other political nominee, let alone a former POTUS, and they are.

This is not third world #. This is now the norm. That is very interesting for our nation.

What truth is he telling when he constantly berates Mike Pence? Or what about his attacks on the judge and prosecution?

It is Donald F"N Trump! What part of that are you still not understanding. Every elected politician bows, takes some heat even when it is not there fault and they are promised something on the flip. This is why you see people in office for 20 plus years.

Trump is the ultimate troll and that is not illegal. The things he says are trash talk. LeBron says worse about opponents and fans in the stands. He can hate the judge or say they could be bias based on who appointed them.

Why not? The media does especially the other way.

Pence, in my mind, could have sent the results back and let them verify. If it took 6 months so be it but instead they just stamped something that was not reviewed the way it should have been. Thats it.

They are coming at him so hard what do you expect? I like the fact he has the balls to tell them all to Eat a Big Bag of XXXX.....

All I'm saying is I hope Trump is paying attention to what just happened to Bankman-Fried.

Why do I get the feeling you're not going to be on here claiming his 1st Amendment rights are being violated?

That's whats nice about all this.

You need not be a Trump fan to see the corruption of the gov't from left to right, from executive to legislative.

When people apply the logic that if they can do this to a guy like Trump with ample resources and clout, imagine what they can do (and oh do they) to you.

To that last part.
In this humble fools opinion, like George Carlin said, they threw us overboard years ago.

Can't argue with that.

As long as folks can realize not to argue with those trying to right the ship even if the possibility is slim.

He's pretty much spent his entire adult life in a courtroom. I don't see it ending anytime soon.

All Trump has to say is their name and roll his eyes on the campaign trail. Others will carry his water.

Gag order is just one more example of the persecution, and is making him a martyr.

" He has been indicted four times. There's no question about him being a criminal defendant."

How Many Times was Mr. Trump Convicted from those " Indictments " ? Answer - NONE . Ever hear of Innocent Until Proven Guilty by Overwhelming Evidence in a Court of Law ? You have some Serious Comprehension Problems when it comes to Mr. Trump . I would advise you to see a Mental Health Professional to Help you Regain your Normal Mental Faculties Before they are Lost Forever .

It's not a gag order. It's a price order. They're extremely common.

If a Democrat politician was making the same threats Trump has made via social media, you would get upset and demand said person gets thrown in jail.

Funny how you folks claim its a 2 tiered system while arguing Trump should be above the law and engaging in witness intimidation and smearing by a defendent is okay if his name is Donald Trump.

It us obvious that none of you understand how courts of law work and how defendent on pre trial release have obligations specific to their case. Lets say someone is facing trial for a say DUI or drug offense, the judge will order them not to drink or use drugs and drug/alcohol test the defendent until the trial date, if they violate the order they will go to jail despite not being proven guilty in a court of law. Trump's charges ordering him to not post threats or reveal sealed information is necessary to protect the rights of cooperating witnesses. If he can not oblige he will go to jail.

The cognitive dissonance here is astounding.

1) What threats, exactly?

2) Might wish to quit acting like you pay attention to what anyone disagreeing with you is actually saying.
Considering your diatribe included much no one said here...
Also, what you think someone will do, if, in your fully partisian viewpoint is in no sense a actual refutation of anything.

It is interesting the same day that they claim imprisoning Trump for witness intimidation would be a violation of his 1st Amendment rights, they applaud Bankman-Fried being imprisoned for that very thing.

and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Individual freedom of expression is a basic civil right.
Interesting many here don’t understand or respect that.
