Nonsense shake-boy. My avatar is very different from a mirage.
A mirage is when the sun reflects off a shallow dip on relatively smooth dry flat ground, such as pavement. The sun has to be quite high in the sky, and you have to be maybe a couple hundred yards back from the shallow dip in the pavement.
A mirage is a naturally-occurring optical phenomenon in which light rays bend via refraction to produce a displaced image of distant objects or the sky. The word comes to English via the French mirer, from the Latin mirari, meaning "to look at, to wonder at".
If you want to call my position nonsense I think you’re going to have to explain a plausible reason why I can see 2 suns when I point my view at the sun indirectly. Just crying nonsense over and over isn’t going to work for me.

There is however some true to these claims, not that Streiber or Lear knew anything about it, but from all my research, Moon is a neutral zone with both "good and bad" races, and some who dwell there and whose operation oscillates between astral and so called "physical" might be capturing discarnated humans. But all happens karmically anyway and whatever happens is supposed to happen.
As for Lear, again, he had absolutely no idea what he was saying, he changed his story countless times to extreme degrees. So he is basically irrelevant. But the core of his Moon story, that there is a large population numbering in hundreds of millions and that conditions are basically Earth-like is correct.
