Already addressed that, almost 400,000km and two atmospheres washes color away and cities are not visible on Earth from the Moon either, ALL Apollo shots in which half of Earth is dark you can't see a single light in the darkness. And there are no lakes, at least not big ones, on the near side.

wrong. no cities exist on the moon. that was a story for the easily convinced. the lake is just dark moondust. moon has no mars like craters either. some of the pictures look like bad cgi.

according to nasa,moons mostly gray with a SLIGHT brownish tinge in SPACE. its so light you can exclude it most nights. the ATMOSPHERE can sometimes make the moon look PURPLE and brown according to NASA it also been red,orange as well. Notice i said From th e ground,not in space where its always mostly gray with a brownish tint. So I am right,you are not.

The appearance of something in a TV broadcast, 16mm video or photo entirely depends on the capabilities of the camera and how the images it produces are treated. They are not necessarily going to produce the same range of colours as the human eye.

Apollo astronauts reported a range of colours for the moon that was directly related to lighting conditions.

Photos of Earth taken from orbit show lakes and cities because they exist. Photos of the moon from orbit do not show those things because they do not exist.

The appearance of the Moon might slightly vary because of different camera / processing / TV....but is surely NOT going to turn rich color high contrast photo/video into 100% colorless and contrastless photo/video.

BS. I presented a huge range of various sources from Apollo, Zond to Chang'e that show real Moon color and it is intense, high contrast brown. Then you sleazily talk of not being able to see lakes with a telescope from Earth altho i said clearly there are no large lakes on the near side. Have you no shame, no shame AT ALL. As for cities, as i said in all the Apollo photos of Earth in half darkness not in one of them is a single city light seen, why do you think the opposite does not apply. I have an open mind, but I like FACTS and actual real and tangible evidence not just random unsubstantiated theories plucked from thin air and people's imaginations and fantasies.
