Who told you that? They know they can't change their biological sexes.

If they do then they're just kidding themselves hoping that surgery and hormones will bring them a step closer to happiness and the opposite gender. But that's part of the trans agenda, to convince people they're in the wrong body and with hormones and surgery things can change and they could be happy forever.
