Okay Annee.
Can't speak on my source, but they cite their sources. And that stuff is happening in schools. You can do the research yourself I guess.
I think you're a predator apologist at this point.
I'm really disappointed to have to come to that conclusion.
I am disappointed that you would come to that false conclusion.
You don’t know it’s false, and he doesn’t know it’s true.
You do have a propensity for making dramatic announcements that you have no way of knowing.
So much for trusting any of this customised “science” that is being bandied about.
Science is based on empirical evidence whose theories can be overturned by new theories with new evidence. Of example, people once thought washing hands was crazy.
There is no "100% truth" or "100% false" in science.
Science still doesn’t know what causes Left-Handedness.
Should we deny its existence?
Nobody denies the existence of people who think they're the opposite sex and recognise they're having some form of mental health issues.
You just did a 180 degree roundabout. Either it exists or it doesn't. You just had a cognitive dissonance. That's all right it's a sign you are beginning to crack through.
Many of us have agreed that there certainly are deranged people who believe it, but it’s just impossible in the physical world.
No disconnect there. Didn’t you agree too ?

Yeah, we're old timey scientists.
We still have beakers and Bunsen burners.
We'd study empirical evidence, not emotional evidence.
Guilty as charged.
I posted too soon before looking up related studies and there are a lot of them which won't fit your narrative either.
www.sciencedirect.com...
Maybe.
But are you smart enough to look up and read studies that don't fit your narrative?
Why would I dismiss actual neuroscience with other disciplines studies in place of old biology narratives?
So the answer is no.
You only read things that agree with your ideology.
At least you're honest in your ignorance.
My ideology is finding the truth through empirical evidence, as I said above, I do and will continue to look at both sides, but both sides keep refuting each other, so I am waiting for repeatable and peer reviewed studies. What are you doing to find the truth?
Oh that's easy.
Since I actually have a degree in developmental neurobiology, I can read and form my own educated opinions.
Since you do not, it is difficult to discuss with someone who doesn't have the requisite educational background.
I can say I am an amateur neuroscientist so I can certainly understand more than you think I can't.
My God.
Take it up with my professor.
He or she would probably advise against you advertising yourself as an amateur neuroscientist.
Not a good look for the profession or for the seriousness of their teaching.
I took one class in structures a long time ago, so I’m a rootin tootin amateur structural engineer.
Own it!
Nah, I’m not much on self aggrandising fake claims.
Well my prof dubbed us with that term so take it up with him.

How can you in one breath say there is no such thing as transgenderism or gender dysphoria and in the same breath say they exist?
It's cognitive dissonance. Don't be alarmed. You are beginning to understand it. It is dawning on you.

I will continue to take the word of scientist Ben Barres — transgender female to male.
Ben A. Barres (September 13, 1954 – December 27, 2017) was an American neurobiologist at Stanford University. His research focused on the interaction between neurons and glial cells in the nervous system. Beginning in 2008, he was chair of the Neurobiology Department at Stanford University School of Medicine. He transitioned to male in 1997, and became the first openly transgender scientist in the National Academy of Sciences in 2013.
The Transgender Scientist Who Changed How We See the Brain: www.theatlantic.com...
so you will continue to take the word of a mentally ill person...
...makes sense.
Let’s weigh your accomplishments against his.
He doesn’t sound mentally I’ll to me.
and thats why you have the disconnect.
even the most accomplished people can have a mental illness . did you think a person so brainwashed that they would think they can change their sex and deny biological reality would come out and say ...
"you know what i was wrong, i am mentally ill and we need to stop this dangerous ideology"
or do you think they will do anything to keep their bubble secure?
Enjoy your day.
Moving on.
glad to have ruined your entire argument, have a wonderful day !

That makes zero sense. If a person is ill, we say, "ill person". It's basic English.
Is English your second language?
"Gender dysphoria" is a term used to describe the phenomenon. You call it mental illness, which is fine. It's still your opinion, but it's still a term with a clear and concise definition.
"Transgenderism" simply means a phenomenon where a person identifies as the opposite GENDER, not biological sex.

Actually the mental illness with gender dysphoria aspect exists along with gender dysphoria without any signs of mental illness.
How do you d
distinguish between the two ?
What defines it as illness, but also allows for it to be true ?
Nobody is saying that they can change their biological sexes. That's a misconception They know their own biological sexes, which is exactly why it's called transgender!!!!
It is an identity. That's all there it is to it!

I simply have no interest in ignorance.

Where’s the media videos of the families and senior gays, and regular everyday LGBTQ+.
Oh, wait — can’t sensationalize regular every day people — who make up the majority of Pride attendees.
