I would have guessed it all went up his nose with his britches off, so I find that both surprising and suspicious.

Hopefully, we will continue to see what's going on.

Is the Delware investigation over with these charges, or is this just his ATF and IRS deals?

So the end result is crackhead pays the taxes he should have payed in the first place, and gets court supervision for a weapons violation that would have landed most people in jail.

And to top it all off the big guy will just pardon him before the end of this term anyway.

And this is somehow proof the DOJ is legit???

Does ANYONE see this as proof there is no two-tiered justice system?

It’s gross

The apologies for such are more gross

If Hunter doesn't do any time for the gun charges, and the progressive defense is that it is rarely prosecuted, then they don't get to have any new gun laws to not enforce either.

They can't have it both ways.

They don’t really care about gun crimes, or the restrictions on inanimate objects.
Nor do they care about making millionaires pay “ their fair share”

Can’t wait for their campaign

I can pretty much remember things being similarly said about Trumps relatives employement so it's fair game.

What employment? Jared and Ivanka being denied security clearance over 20x but still getting jobs in the WH and then managing to make 640 million while there and additional few billion from SA right after Trump is on audio talking about classified info? As of yesterday still claiming he could do anything he wanted with the docs?

Hunter was never employed by the WH or government. His father did not override everyone's security concerns and put him there. Even you have to admit, the employment situation is not the same.

Because I actually care about what happens to Hunter? No.

Because you guys were so sure the laptop was going to spell Biden's downfall and yet the best Trump's handpicked prosecutor could manage were a couple of misdemeanors and probation? That #'s hilarious.

Jared, Ivanka and Donald all entered as either billionaires or close during the 45th term. They did not need it. People came to them for money. They already knew all of these people...through business. There was no reason to buy them. Trump lost money in office. Ask the media they made sure to let everyone know.

Biden and Hunter is based on politics and their need of money. If you truly think the Big Guy did not influence anything then you are in denial. I am not glad Hunter was charged to be honest. I am more concerned how he treats the daughter he has and they all ignore. That kid is gonna grow up real f'd up. Maybe show up on dads tablet in 15 years because they are Bidens. A brother having an affair with his dead brothers wife? They are the Ultimate White Trash in the White House and this, again, shows it. Dad is the president. Do you REALLY think he is going to do any time???? I just cannot believe the optic of since he admitted to doing something wrong he is ok but if you want to fight because you know you are right then you are a whiny cheeto man.

They are the Ultimate White Trash in the White House

White Trash is being nice.

Remember the email about someone wanting the other one to take a HIV test?
Hunter is a crack smoking scum ball.

Edit - I think it was Hunter and his brother’s widow that he was tagging.

It seems like justice was served. Hunter got a harsher deal than most people in his situation but it still amounts to very little. The prosecutor was not able to put together any other charges based on the evidence.

What more do you want?

Because it almost seems like you're the one that wants something to happen that goes beyond justice.

Solid gold.

Not only do you believe Hunter got a "harsher" sentence but you also think that after a 5 year investigation that this is all they could muster.

...and you say this in the face of all your rabid thread history.

Awesome.

Looking forward to the next firearm debate and you guys whining about them.

I'll bite. Beyond Justice. Never. Just the max would be ok. 10 years.

But, to be honest, if I was the judge even he was just an average schmuck I'd offer him the same if he had no priors. 12 month PDI and if you stay clean you do no time. Violate and you get mandatory 2 years. That is justice. Giving someone who could have made a mistake a chance.

This case was never coming to trial. It was planned at the correct time just after 45's last indictment to take the wind out of the sails of his Hunter complaints. Now the media can just say he is whining and what else does he want.

A game man...all a big game.

I never thought I would see ATS implode when Hunter was finally charged with something. And I expect to see many threads about prison reform and sentencing gudelines, the double standards for rich/poor, white/black. I'm sure that's happening now right? Seriously though, of course I know it won't see them. This outrage is about none of that really.

How would you know considering we never actually saw any of the evidence? Its not like it went to trial and there was discovery or anything. All you have is the word of a prosecutor who works for his daddy...

The statistics were posted in this thread. Most first offense tax evaders are never persecuted same goes for violaters of 18 USC 922G1.

Speaking of gun laws, why are you so desperate to see Hunter punished for a law that a number of lower courts have ruled as being unconstitutional?

Would you be surprised to know that Hunters prior drug charges were expunged?

Did y'all hear that big "woosh" sound? That was all the air leaving the sails of Hunter Biden's laptop. It appears that President Bidens DOJ truly is independent, as it should be.

lol did you vomit when you typed this or were you able to hold down those lies. ?

Whose imploding? I mean, to be honest, this has been a pretty mild thread. The main thing is optics and chances to be honest.

This was the one time that Biden could have made it all right and shut everyone down once and for rall. He should have asked for 6 months on the gun charge. Do soft time in a Federal Penitentiary or a halfway house. He gets clean, comes out and is a success story. Ride the wave.

What were his original charges? Didn't his sister dispose of the gun for him? What happened to that? Sounds like wreckless endangerment at least right?

Not really. Read it happened when he was 18. Rising star Byron Donalds in the GOP got a diversion program for distribution of drugs and years later was charged with felony bribery. He got that expunged after he pled guilty to it. No one really seems too concerned about it. So, it's not really a big deal to have committed some crimes or have them expunged right?
