Who knows. He's certainly not the first or last well known person to end up owing back taxes.

Yeah, ask Wesley Snipes about that.

He should have had a list or a daddy that was president.

Totally the same:

Snipes argued the IRS was an illegitimate government agency and cited an obscure section of the tax code that establishes that foreign sources of income for U.S. citizens are taxable. He also claimed he was a non-resident alien

Weird the same people that yesterday we're referring to Juneteenth as "ghetto" a "result of CRT" and " a fake holiday" sure want to suddenly use a lot of black people to make a point. And before you bring up Kodak Black as MTG just did. He had numerous priors and his gun was found at the scene of a crime.

And again, people who must have ignored cases where affluent people have always received lighter sentences than others are now suddenly outraged. Typical ATS. Now it matters. Where have you been?

It's actually pretty in keeping with standard practices. If anything, it's a little harsher. The DOJ rarely chooses to prosecute first time tax offenders or false gun applications.

Uh
No
I actually looked up tax evasion
The irs flaunts their statistics and are proud of their convictions
This is a case of 2 tiered justice

Oh
Also how about the fara reports requirement
That law also has been broken

But
Hey
It’s the potus son……

Pay your fair share my ass

I've got the words of a former US Attorney.

Source

and for the whatabout points, what was the punishment for Trump's CFO when he was caught doing about the same crime?

Confused what race has to do with this topic. Do you judge most statements based on the race of the person talked about? Seems kinda...well I think you know.

Dude got 5 months for a 10 year long fraud scheme. So, you looking for a month or two for Hunter? That will stop the whining?

Hmm, why are people only using them as examples? Now.

I mean feel free to cast me as whatever you want.

Haha, who is defending him? Dude pled out. Paid the taxes. The rich getting lighter sentences is not new. I've often pointed out disparities. No one cared before. Remember it's just like jail conditions and cops pepper spraying protesters. Y'all never cared, felt it was all deserved. Until, it happened to Patriots. Oh the uproar. Spare me the indignation.

Anyone know where he got that cool million from?

Oh, yeah, paintings. Did he claim the million income he paid the fine with.... lol He's a good boy, let him be?

No actually he's a criminal. He pled guilty to his crimes and paid his fines. I don't think he's a great person, that's for sure.

If this was Trump's son the media and democrats would be screaming in protest, particularly if Trump was in power at the time.

You're right. From 2007 to 2021 Roger Stone hid $2 million from the IRS. His case was resolved civilly. The fact that prosecutors were pursuing criminal charges for Hunter seems to be an anomaly.

To be honest, I don't give a rats ass about Hunter, The two tiered system is irritating, but it's not changing until 2024, and then it should swing totally the other directions and you will be the one crying buckets. I am just a little concerned about the president being a CUCK for Xi. But idiot liberals seem to enjoy the China business.

But you aren't even curious HOW he paid his fines, not having a job and all.

I get it. As long as people who do illegal things own up to it then it is ok. Progressive logic.

You all crying poor Hunter. He is just a down on his luck dude...please. Rich junkies with connections are the worst. This guy has millions hidden from the IRS. You know it. We have all read about it. That is what shell companies are for.

Again, could care less about the tax items but the gun? No. It is not just about lying about it on a form it was found in a dumpster. Nothing about that. Could have been found and used in a crime. They jam that rhetoric down our throats and the son of the most powerful country in the world gets a pass and you shrug it off?

It is sad.

Heck maybe his parents gave it to him after he cleaned up. I mean unless you have proof he obtained it by nefarious means, it's pretty moot.

According to a quick Google search, he has a net worth of $230-million. Maybe he paid it with his pocket change. It is also said that he is the proprietor of dozens of LLC's, so he's getting income from those, even if he doesn't have a "job".

Assuming all of the above is incorrect...maybe he had a go fund me account....maybe his daddy paid his debt. The speculation is endless.

Actually I think it's funny but unsurprising that ATS now cares about rich people being treated differently than poor and minorities. I also think it's funny that the man was charged with crimes, but that's still not good enough for you.

Not one person on the left defending him, but ATS still has to be angry about something. If he got 2 years, you'd be screeching he should have had 10, if he had 10 you'd be screeching it should be 20.

Keep this mood up though, I expect calls for severe jail time when someone you support pleads out or is found guilty. We will see if that happens. I mean I'm not surprised, nor will I be if it's someone you support. It's always been different for rich or celebrities. Did you forget the rapist who got off due to "affluenza"?

So the end result is crackhead pays the taxes he should have payed in the first place, and gets court supervision for a weapons violation that would have landed most people in jail.

And to top it all off the big guy will just pardon him before the end of this term anyway.

And this is somehow proof the DOJ is legit???

Does ANYONE see this as proof there is no two-tiered justice system?
